I have a couple of these for daily use, and have been using them for years. I have never experienced the battery chamber leakage, difficulty changing batteries or failures that other users report. Even being knocked to the floor does not seem to bother them.

What I have experienced is a horrible smell that builds up in both the brush heads and in the place where the brush head connects to the unit. No amount of rinsing helps much, I have even put the brushheads in the dishwasher, which helped, but did not solve the problem.

I got new heads, but that didnt't get rid of the smell in the handle.

The bristles are soft on gums and are great for those who need a good cleaning. I like it because its durable and has reduced a lot of tarter

I live overseas and tried to use my expensive electric toothbrush but the voltage wouldn't work. I found this brush and use it as a replacement. It provides good cleaning, but you do have to replace the batteries to keep the brush cleaning well. I have had no problems opening and closing the battery compartment. I could not find replacement heads where I purchased the tootbrush. I find it an adequate substitute for an expensive electric brush when I travel.

The batteries don't last and start dying within a couple weeks. The bristles are weak and fray easy. Complained to the company. Not worth the extra money!

like other users pointed out, once the brush head comes off, it is impossible to put back on., rendering it useless. Too expensive for this to happen!

It worked great until the batteries died. Once I inserted the new batteries, the cap would not go back on. My boyfriend worked with it and sort of got it on but it only worked sporadically. Too expensive to replace everytime the batteries die.

This product lasted a grand total of 1 week before the battery compartment became so corroded that the whole unit failed. When I tried to replace the batter, I encountered a filthy mess. I didn't submerse the toothbrush and I only rinsed out the brush head. It's a poor design that allows water to collect in the battery compartment and corrode out the unit. While the brush head was effective, who can afford to replace the unit every week? I switched from another brand and I regret it.

I love this brush. Gives expensive electric toothbrushes a run for their money. Leaves my teeth very clean.
