I have dry mouth from several medications I take as well as chronic autoimmune problems which cause oral sores and canker sores. The best things I've ever found to help all of this is the entire line of Biotene products. My dental hygienist suggested them to me. I wear a nightguard because I grind my teeth and have TMJ, so I line the inside of that with the gel, and it keeps it in place all night. Before, my mouth would be so dry that the nightguard would fall out and I'd find it on the floor the next morning. Fabulous product.

Not for serious dry mouth. I have sjogren's syndrome so have thick sticky saliva. This product did not add any moisture to my mouth. It only temporarily improves the breath (30 minutes or less). A breath mint could easily replace this product. I had high hopes that this would work and am very disappointed. Back to the drawing board.

This has got to be the best Dry Mouth product on the market and since my bout with Oral Cancer in 1999, I have tried them all. While they all work, this product outdoes them all. If I use it at bedtime, it keeps the drymouth from waking me up to drink more water which will result in less trips to the bathroom. Biotene is the best!!!

I have been battling dry mouth (xerostomia) now for several years due to tons of medications I take for a chronic disability. (I am also a physician by training, so I know the very serious adverse effects which can come from chronic dry mouth). As a result, I am beginning to develop some early periodontal disease, despite drinking tons of water daily. My dentist gave me a sample of this at my last visit. I used it today and am utterly amazed by it! The taste is fine and it does adhere to all the mucosal tissues of the oral cavity well enough to do the job without washing away with a regular drink of water. I cannot praise this product enough!

After radiation therapy, I tried numerous things for dry mouth for the first 3 months, with no results. The Biotene Gel works great, both during the day and at night for sleeping. I wish I had heard about this earlier!
