Biotene gel is superior to the liquid..better flavor, longer lasting. That said, does not last long, requiring application every two-three hours. In spite of that, it is the BEST on the market to counter dry mouth side effects of pain medications. Pricey. Use two tubes weeky. Pain management Doc was not aware of Biotene so provided empty box for patients info.
