The reusable pads are the first I've tried and I thought they worked really well. My only concern is the slight messiness since you can't just throw them away. My solution was to buy a small wet/dry bag from a cloth diapering website that I can keep in my purse.

I love the lunapads- been wearing them for years. They're so much more comfortable than disposable pads and well worth the money. They wash very easily. The only problem I've had with them is when I'm out and about and need to change and don't have anything to store them in. The company might want to invest in a travel-size purse or wallet for storage because the big plastic thing they come in isn't exactly discreet. On light days, the liner's fine; on medium days the maxi; on heavy days use both.

Wow. Using Lunapads is a lot easier than I expected and the yuck factor is really nonexistant. They are soft, comfortable and effective. I am looking forward to never purchasing disposable pads again.

After learning how toxic disposable pads and tampons are for your body and the environment, I purchased Luna Pads. The organic line is the best. Now that I'm trying to conceive, it's especially important to not use the chemical-laden tampons that pull the natural moisture out of your body, instead of collecting and absorbing it like Luna Pads (or the runner-up option, Instead cups). They last forever and are easy to care for. I have saved so much money and would never switch.

For years I had a vague idea that cloth pads existed, but I always thought they would leak and be very difficult to wash and deal with. As it turns out, that couldn't be further from the truth. Oh how I wish I had tried them years ago! Lunapads are wonderfully made and very easy to use. Being able to change and add the liners on top is a great feature, and you won't believe how soft and luxurious the fabric is. I feel so much more comfortable and secure wearing them because they don't shift and leak like plastic pads, and they are so soft and comfy. Once you try them, you will never go back to the irritating plastic disposable pads. Many women find that their periods get lighter and their cramps disappear or at least lessen. I used to get terrible cramps, but haven't had any since I switched to the organic Lunapads. Thanks to Lunapads, I feel like I finally made peace with my period and actually look forward to that time of the month now. Give them a try - you'll be so glad you did!

Lunapads Organics are amazing. I've teamed them up with the Diva Cup and I couldn't be happier. I know I'm doing something healthy for my body and positive for the environment. And they work great and are very comfortable. I'll never go back to disposable products again!

The cotton fleece of Lunapads feels so much better against the skin than a sticky, rustling, plastic pad. And no adhesive strip to accidentally get stuck where it doesn't belong!
These pads are not as bulky as you might think. In fact they are thinner than a lot of disposable pads, and they are narrower too than some disposable pads. When I first put one on, it felt strange because it was not at all what I was used to. (The best way I can describe it is that the pad feels heavier, and more permanent because it's made of cloth and not paper.) But I quickly got used to having soft cloth against my skin instead of that awful sweaty plastic! I feel good about purchasing ORGANIC Lunapads, because I know I'm doing the best thing for my health and for the environment, too. For those afraid to make this change, just give it a try, why not? You can buy just one single pad if you're not sure about it. I haven't heard of a single woman who has tried these and not liked them, though.

I LOVE these pads!I have never used cloth pads before.I discovered them a month ago when I came across Lunapads at drugstore.com so I gave it a try(I get'diper-rush'from the store-brand kinds)!The first impression I got was how soft they were and how well the pads were put together(they come with fleece cotton liner you can change)andWow they were comfy!I also noticed that they soak up fluid much better than the plastic ones did.They're really easy to use.I just put them on my panty,like I'd any store brand:face up and fold the wings under the panty and fasten them with the little snap.That's all!When you have a heavier period just add more liners(you can buy them separetaly too).Very practical!I only ordered two to try but I am sure I order a few more each payday so eventcually I'll have enough to last through a whole period!They come in wide range of patterns and colors,really cool ones like leopard,poodles,kitty cafe so I'm looking forward to build my padding drawer accessories;)

I have used this product for at a year. The item is very well made, comfortable, and easy to use. I have not had problems with leaks. The pad holds up to multiple washing and wearing. I anticipate getting a long life out of this product.
