The version of this floss which was available in most northern California stores was gresat because it was easy on gums, was woven and contained fluoride, and had enough surface area to clean surfaces between teeth down to the gum line, The floss from Drugstore seemed to be a dfferent version, not as well woven, not as soft, and somewhat disappointing in that it was not as good as the product I had been using before it became unavailable in stores, probably because it cost more to produce.

Wow! Love this floss! I never thought I would be writing a review about dental floss but this is truly a must have. It is gentle, It has fluoride, it has a minty taste and cleans in between your teeth and gums better then anything I have ever used. I'm so happy I found it. Thanks to the reviews on this site for your reviews because that is why I bought it and you all are right. The best floss hands down.

This is the only floss I use, however, I, like the other reviewers have noticed that stores have not been carrying it. I tried the waxed ones and hated it so I immediately started searching for these online and was directed to this site. [...] The old one had many words on it but the newer ones has less and is red in color. If i saw this in the store I would have thought it was the waxed version. Be on the lookout for the newer packaging!

This is the only floss which seems to clean the inside surfaces of my teeth. It removes food residue and feels like it softly scrubs the inside surface of the tooth without any abrasion. This floss also appears less likely to cut the gums. I can't find this in local stores and it is one of a few "drugstore.com only" products which I'm glad to find here. I really like it and I floss every day; at least once.

Most flosses irritate my gums even if I use daily to build up tolerance, but not this one. I have not had problems with it coming apart in tight spaces, lik e other reviewers have mentioned, but family members have. Guess it depends on how your teeth are spaced.

Tips:

Wind 18" around your fingers, leaving 4" of floss between them.
Grasp floss between thumb and index finger
Clean up & down between teeth and under the gum line, using a clean section of floss every few teeth.
