I am a biologist and have a very clear understanding about what to expect from body products. For one, there is nothing rubbed into the skin that "melts cellulite" and there is no miracle cure. But I had a baby less than 2 years ago and although I weigh less than when I got pregnant, nature has unkindly shifted the fat around, and gravity has taken hold. I cannot believe how well this lotion has worked on my problem areas! I am dieting to prepare for swimsuits and I started to realize the new little dimples (that I never had before in my life) are here to stay. But I was wrong! I have a very skeptical mind, and the results are so dramatic that I cannot deny the dimples are much less visible. I think that when weight is gained and lost the skin loses elasticity and this lotion seems to tone it right up. I have actual hope that I will pick a swimsuit that I will be proud to wear in Hawaii this year. And I can tell you, after a c-section, that is a big deal. I tried plenty of other "firming" lotions over the last couple of years and this is the ONLY one that has worked. The smell is strong, but goes away, and I am positive that you won't find an unscented lotion that firms skin. It's just chemistry, people!

I love all of nivea's products I have been using them ever since I can remember because it's simply the best!!!! This lotion does work and it gives just the right amount of moisture not greasy at all!!!!! I will keep buying this lotion they better never stop selling it!!!

Just the right texture and smell. This is my bedtime lotion so it works while you sleep.

I noticed some light firming after using for a few weeks, but this did not moisturize my skin at all. The texture of this lotion is so thin and runny I don't see how it could possibly moisturize anything. I had dry flakies all over, even in areas I normally do not have trouble with dry skin. I started using a different non-firming type of lotion over the top of this. Now that I've used the whole bottle, I've moved on to a different brand of firming lotion and the dryness has cleared right up.

I love everything about this product. I don't know what the problem with the smell is with other reviewers, but this just smells like any other lotion to me. It absorbs quickly and makes my skin feel great. I don't think it tightens loose skin perfectly, but then topical lotions can't do that in a perfect manner anyway. It does offer some firming though and I am quite happy with the results.

I have been using Nivea's lotions on my body for about 20 years, and this particular lotion for around 10 or so and my skin has never been softer. I put it on all over my body once a day after a shower or bathing. It has made my skin so soft it has been compared to baby's skin. I have tried other lotions from all different brands and always return to this one because it gives the best results. No doubt about it, my skin is soft, silky, and young and healthy looking. Try it for a couple of weeks and you can't help but notice the difference in the condition of your skin.

I have used this product before, but in using it again was reminded how well it really does work! It really does improve the tone of your skin and really does tighten your skin, as well. It also has taken down the indentation in my stretch marks -- which I did not expect from this product, but was an added bonus! I apply the lotion at night and my skin feels so soft and smooth throughout the day. The best part is that while it says that it takes two weeks to work on the bottle, results happened even sooner for me, personally. The smell really isn't offensive and the product really is just too wonderful to pass up!

One of the best lotions I've ever used. Soft and milky gel-like texture that glides on smoothly, sinks in quickly, not greasy or sticky, leaves my skin silky and moisturized all day, light enough for summer and moisturizing enough for winter. The perfect lotion...except for the smell. This stuff stinks to high heaven. Strong, pungent floral. Like a room full of dead flowers. And the stench lasts for hours. So strong it gives me a headache every time, and I am NOT sensitive to scents. Too bad they had to ruin the perfect lotion with the stench. If this was unscented I'd buy it by the barrel.
