To be frank, I have horrendously dry, sensitive skin for living in Florida. I've tried everything from expensive products to homemade remedies. I'm subject to major headaches as the slightest off putting scent. I get rashes and breakouts with certain chemicals and ingredients. Perhaps I sound high maintenance and perhaps I am, but I can't help what my skin can handle. Burt's Bees Night Cream really saved my life.

This is a strictly night time only moisturizer. It's super thick, kind of greasy/oily (but not in a pore clogging way) and in a really small jar. After a wash before bed I put this on all over my face and it feels like I've got Crisco slapped all over my face, but it does what other night moisturizers never do. It's ultra hydrating and last all through the night. When I wake up I can see a difference in my skin and there is no dry spots on my face or break outs. My skin feels baby soft and I can go though my day with confidence.

The smell is ok. It smells like roses, but in a sickeningly sweet way. I can get over it because I fall asleep soon after cleaning up for bed. If I had to wear it all day, I might be sick from the smell. Also, even though it's greasy/oily it doesn't stain pillow cases or sheets. MAJOR plus in my book.

The jar is alarmingly small. I had no idea how small until I got the package and I thought that I would use it all up in just a week. So not the case. After 3 weeks I've hardly made a dent. A little goes a long way and I'm thankful. The jar also is perfect for travel, but it is made of heavy glass. Take care not to drop it.

Overall, this night cream has saved my face. Once I use it I can see the difference in before and after. I can tell the moment I spot using it regularly. It makes my skin even so when I apply makeup there are no dry spots that look unsightly. This is also a good cream to use as a spot treatment for dryness.

I have been using this night cream for years. I stopped for a few months when I ran out of it and noticed that I started to look dry and unrested. I have recommended this to a few people and they all look younger and love it as well.
My favorite cream by a long shot. I have tried a bunch.

Soothes dry, flakey skin from being outdoors in the wind or indoors in dry, heated conditions. I'd describe as "greasy" for summer humidity.

This is a very heavy cream but I love it. I've been using it on and off for years. I am a foot/bike commuter, outdoors a lot, in cold/hot/strong/constant wind. This product really helps protect against chapping and keeps my very dry skin protected year round. It does not protect against sun damage so sun screen is needed underneath.

I have very dry skin and I love this stuff! It really moisturizes, it is a bit greasy when you put it on, you can't put make-up over it, it's only for night time. But when you wake up the next day it has soaked into your skin and it makes it very smooth and soft.

Great for very dry skin! Don't use this if you're prone to breakouts (duh). I don't mind the smell, but my boyfriend hates it. What matters is how well it works.

This is the only Burt's Bees product I like, but I do like this. It is a heavy-duty moisturizing cream for very dry skin. If you don't have very dry skin, you won't like it. The third ingredient is beeswax--that tells you that it's a thick product that does not immediately vanish. This long-lasting property is what preserves the moisture in my skin overnight in the winter when nothing else works. I use a tiny bit and warm it between my fingertips before applying. I wouldn't use it during the day because it leaves my face shiny, and I wouldn't use it every night because it's pore-clogging if used too frequently. But for skin emergencies (peeling, flaking, raw, chapped skin), it's wonderful. Doesn't cause me to break out (no stearic acid).
