I've had this dryer for over a year now, and I still think it's wonderful. It's not too loud, and it's got enough umph! to dry my short, thick/wavy hair in about 5 minutes. The only downside is that the dryer attachment has melted a bit (still works fine). It might be because of the plastic barrel brush I use, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Well, I usually air dry my hair and was hoping to get a hair dryer that didn't fry my hair out. I have wavy hair and used it with the diffuser--it totally made my hair frizzy and dried out. I even used products specifically for hair drying. Ultimately I was completely unsatisfied.

I have naturally wavy hair. If the humidity is right I use the defuser along with mousse and get a nice wavy look (I've learned to stop fighting my hair - humid days it's curly, dry days it's straight).. On days with low humidity i use the regular extender and pull my hair straight, so it works for both styles. I do want to emphasize (since I had to check out many sites for reviews that gave this information) that it has both a diffuser and the regular extender. The description doesn't include that info. I love this dryer. The attachments for this go OVER the nozzle, so they stay on. My last dryer, they kind of screwed into the end and they always popped out. Quite annoying.

I'm on my second T-3, thank god first one was under warranty. In under 2 years, it lost power, just like the first one did in less than 6 months. It's not worth [$]. I still remember my first blow dryer that lasted 15 years (this is not an exaggeration). Save your money and buy this one. Its powerful, the placement of the controls is normal and I'm so surprised anyone would complain. My hair is wavy, medium thickness and dried in about 7 minutes. Its about as loud as a hotel blow dryer, no big deal. Fantastic for the price. Highly recommend.
