I was hesitant to use any AHA, although this lotion is so gentle. I love it and I will continue to use, and I have even tried on my face and neck area with no irritation or problems!!! Yahoo! It is definitely gentle and does make skin soft, although wear SPF too just in case... sunburn.

I'm the type of person who has to try all the new products and I have tried many lotions. This one works the best for me. It's the only thing I'll use in the winter, but it's not too heavy to use other times also. If you have really dry skin, you should definitely try this product.

I dont know what the original formula was like, but I like this lotion. The exfoliators are very effective; they will definitely make your skin feel silky. If you use sunless tanner it helps to keep your tan from fading spotty (it doesnt make the tan fade much faster, only more evenly). The smell is pleasant, sort of floral. The beads are a little strange, but dissolve on contact with my skin so its not a big deal like some other reviewers indicate.

This is the best lotion I have ever used. I had tiny red bumps on my upper arms and after using this lotion regularly the bumps are almost gone. I noticed some people didn't like the smell, but I like the smell; its light and fresh.

I looked in vain for the old Skin Smoothing Lotion which was the best thing for my skin. This is like a wannabe, and doesn't quite do it, very disappointing. Doesn't have the richness or exfoliating quality that the original had. Mine is sitting unused.
