I purchased Tend Skin for folliculitis of the bikini area but unfortunately this product did not work for me. In fact, one ingrown hair grew to become a large infected cyst after using Tend Skin. I cannot say if it is because of the Tend Skin or if that was going to happen without it, but I can say that the other ingrown hairs did not disappear or become smooth after using Tend Skin. Perhaps this is a product that should be used before hair removal instead of trying to fix the problem after?

I've been shaving my head bald with electric clippers and trimmers since I was a freshmen in college (10yrs ago) and not until I stumbled upon this product about 6 yrs ago did I completely enjoy the after effects. My gf at the time treated me to a spa and the staff there gave me a sample of tend skin. I had doubts about its effectiveness after trying so many products before. I was totally blown away and the product made me a believer within 48 hours of application. I use it religiously before and after shaving my face and head. I NEVER get bumps when I use this stuff! I'm an African American male and we're known for having sensitive skin which is highly susceptible to razor bumps and ingrown hairs. I've suggested this to all of my family and friends. 100 % of the time they come back and thank me so much for this recommendation! Honestly, I don't have anything bad to say about this product.

On rare occasions I get a full Brazilian. If I remember to use this afterwards, no red painful bumps. If I forget to use it, red painful bumps. Simple decision. I pour some on a cotton ball and dab onto my skin every time I go to the bathroom. It's cooling, too. Watch out: it's got the consistency of water, so it's very easy to use too much or spill.

This is the only product that works for me! I wax my bikini and with this i never get ingrown hairs anymore! It's a miracle in a bottle and worth the price! Now i dont feel self concious at the pool!
