I'm an overweight mid-20's grad student who was very athletic through high school. But with college and grad school, combined with poor eating habits, I've put on quite a bit more than I would like to be carrying. Since college, every time I tried running or vigorous leg excercises, I would get horrible chaffing between my thighs. This only got worse to the point that I would start chaffing after only a short walk around the neighborhood. So after asking several marathon runners and reading many online reviews, I decided to try Body Glide, as it was the highest recommended of all the products. I've only been using it for the last two weeks, and am still young in my running / exercising routine (running only about a mile at a time), but since using this product, I have yet to experience any chaffing - a true blessing! For good measure, I routinely apply a coat in the morning every day, and it's been working as its been described. I can't elaborate on how each stick will last, but I have the bigger of the two sizes, and I'm hoping it will last at least 6 weeks. It's not very slimy, and I after a few minutes, I actually forget that it's there. The only down-side for me is that it's not cheap - I bought two for of the larger sticks for [$] online. But the product seems to live up to my expectations, and I will definitely continue to use it if it works as well as it has been over the next few months. Not sure of the longevity yet, either, as I haven't made it more than a mile per run, but I've heard that it lasts most "real" runners about half a marathon before it needs to be re-applied. I definitely recommend this product for anyone with chaffing!

I'm an avid marathon runner and cyclist. I have never had a caffing issue when using this product. It holds up well. Even after a 6-hour bike tour in high heat and humidity the product offered full protection with one application.

I am a ballerina and I constantly use this stuff to stop my feet from blistering and chafing in my pointe shoes. I also use this stick when I wear uncomfortable shoes that cause me to blister, and I can put it anywhere on me feet to keep them comfortable. If I am wearing a shirt or pants that chafe, I also use it on my skin and it works like a charm. I know long distance runners who swear by this stuff because it stops the uncomfortable chafing that comes with constant friction on your skin. The stuff usually lasts about 2-3 hours and then your reapply, but it is amazing. I bring it everywhere with me and I recommend it to anybody who experiences discomfort from their shoes or any other piece of clothing.

ok so this is an outdoor/hiking product. But I use it when I wear nice shoes and have to walk in NYC all day. Works beautifully. Better than pantyhose!

i am prone to blisters but I havent had one since I started using this. Great not only for running, but everyday use with any shoes that rub...makes wearing heels bearable!

This product works great for areas where you might get gaulded. Excellent in preventing you from getting rubbed raw.

Use this product where ever blisters or chafing can happen. I have used it for about 10 years. It holds up to sweat, rain and long distance running, cycling etc. It doesn't stain clothing. It is an awesome product.
