I bought the replacement sponges because i did not want to shell out an extra $25 for a brush, but when i replaced the sponge on my supernatural powder, it seemed like a LOT of product was wasted on the old sponge. I ended up using the old sponge on its own, and it was enough make-up for several days, even after i tapped out as much as possible into my loose powder container. i think they sell these sponges for [$], because you will have to replace your $30 make-up more often.if you are that concerned with bacteria, etc. building up on the sponge, wash the one that is already on there with a gentle soap or detergent

Replacing the application sponge is a great money saver. Once you have the original product, all you need to do is buy the refill powder and the sponges.

These replacement sponges fit the Philosophy Supernatural Airbrushed foundation applicator. Compared to other mineral make-ups, the all-in-one applicator makes it easy to apply and the minerals don't get all over the place! Although the product & applicator are the best I've found, the sponges naturally wear out . They're hard to find and expensive where I live so I was thrilled at the price[...]I got two packages so I don't have to search for them & will reorder from same site when they're gone. Excellent!

These are wonderful. My sponge always looks yucky after a few weeks. These are quick and easy to change out. Love the makeup they come on. Easy to put on and lasts. This is the best product design and with product to go with it.

These are great. You can wash the original sponge, but after a couple of washings, its texture changes. I hadn't realized just how much this was so until I ordered the replacements. The supernatural airbrushed powder lasts quite a while, so I would recommend buying these replacements. Also, I have been refilling the supernatural container with other mineral powders, since this applicator is faster than using brushes (although the coverage isn't quite as good), and so I definitely couldn't keep using the original sponge. A few other companies make applicators like the philosophy supernatural container and it looks like these sponges could work as replacements for them, too (although I haven't tried this yet).
