Great all purpose hairdryer!

I use this mostly wtihout the attachment as I also have the Conair heat styler for finishing, so is a little pricey for just a hairdryer but is very lightweight and nice long cord. I'm glad I bought it here for a lot less than the Department Store. It does not dry out or make the hair dry if you use an appropriate Hair Serum made for heat styling. I color my hair frequently and I don't have a problem but if hair is overprocessed the lower heat setting should be used. I would recommend this for long hair also as much easier than trying to hold a brush and hair dryer for me. I have short layered hair and does give me height when I use the attachment to dry hair upward to build lift from underneath.

I have fine frizzy hair and this is by far the best hand- held home hair dryer or styling device that I have ever had. Its big advantage is that the device holds the hair tight at the same time that it dries it, so it is much easier to manage than rolling your hair on a brush with one hand and holding a dryer in the other. My hair comes out much less frizzy and with a better shape than with any other home device that I have ever had (and I've tried them all!) It's main downside is that it's large and a little heavy, and it's still awkward to do the hard to reach area in the back of your head, but much to my amazement, it really does work.

I have never been able to dry my extremely thick and wavy hair with a normal hairdryer & brush -- even after 20 minutes my hair is usually wet somewhere I love this hairdryer so much after my last one was stolen I had to have another one. It was no longer available at my local store so I ordered another online -- same product, same results, love it. Also I read the reviews about starting to have problems or hair damage over time and I have never experienced that problem despite literally years of using this product.

This dryer is the best! It's hard to get every hair perfectly straight when using it but it's easy to use and I just need to make a few touch ups with a flat iron after using it. It is also really quiet for a dryer and I like that i can do my hair with one hand. It's like a brush and dryer in one!

Love this hair dryer! I almost never straighten my hair because it takes me over an hour. My hair is curly and thick. Today it only took me forty minutes, and I think with some practice it would take me even less time. Plus, my arms aren't tired. The instructions say to use the high setting, but I used the low. It was hot enough to do the trick.

This is the best dryer/styler ever. I am able to style my hair just like my hairdresser does it. Finally I have smooth shiny hair, everyday instead of just once a month (after my hairdresser appointment). No more frizz, and very little breakage, if you use the Infiniti properly. It comes with an instructional DVD. I am thinking of buying a second one just in case they stop manufacturing this one when I need a replacement. BUY IT!

What a disappointment! I was very excited about purchasing this dryer because of the rave reviews I had heard from friends. The first time I used it, my hair looked really good and I was pretty satisfied. After 3 more uses, I noticed my hair was becoming more brittle and even breaking off during usage. My hair is now pretty damaged, but I do like how it dries the back of my hair, so I may keep it so that I could just do the back quickly. I have thick, bleach blonde medium length hair.

I was so excited to get this dryer as I saw infomercials for products like this one and really wanted my curly hair to be straight! Unfortunately, just like another customer reviewer posted previously, I too had more breakage and frizz than before I started using this dryer. I tried to use it without the straightening attachment as I felt that might have been contributing to the breakage as the way it glides through the hair (used a rounded brush), and although this can be done, the "Ionic" heat protection even when using a special "Ionic" brush does not lessen the amount of frizz or breakage. My hair never got that straight or stayed that way for long, even with using the "Cool Shot" button. Very disappointing.

I love this machine. I wore my hair in a pony tail for 7 straight weeks before buying this thing. Now my hair is down everyday. Sure my hair is a little frizzy the first day and I feel like I have a little Farah hair coming on. But my husband loves it and anything to get that stupid curl out! But the slight frizz look is nothing some styling product couldn't fix if I wanted to. I like to use it the second day with just squirting my hair with water first. Then it really shines and is really flat.

I was happy with the results the first few times but then I noticed my hair started becoming frizzy and burnt looking. It's quite difficult to use and I pretty much gave up and went back to my paddle brush and regular hair dryer. Now my hair looks healthy again. I would not recommend.
