There is few other brands that has 2000mg. Most only sell 800mg or 1000mg or 1500mg.

I am in my early 40's and began getting arthritis symptoms in my mid 30's. Within the last year I get terrible pain in my fingers and in my hip from arthritis (it runs in my family). I decided to try this product even though I hate taking too many pills and it has definitely helped. I moved up from the 500 to this one because I don't like popping pills all day and this dosage is higher, so obviously less pills. I only take one in the morning, not the recommended two, but for now it seems to be working b/c the frequency and intensity of the pain I feel is much less than before.
