If you use it on your bottom dentures you have to wait about a half an hour before eating.The top denture holds all day.Shake the bottle good,some times it stays for the whole dinner and other times it comes loose during eating. I don't know if it is not mixed well or it is the food you eat that makes it come loose.Fixodent works a little better,fixodent removes easly when cleaning denture.

Use everyday because it works and last long enough that i only need to apply twice daily. Easy to apply and not messy.

this is the best and most ecconomical denture adhesive i have ever used- i suspect the reason it is so hard to find is because one bottle of it lasts so long- for me it is the equivalent of 4 to 5 tubes of the messy stuff -why would a retailer want to carry this product that is so long lasting if he can sell 5 or 6 of the messy stuff in it's place? it is extremely cost effective for the consumer- i highly recommend it to everyone- i order 6 at a time to be sure i always have it on hand- i keep one in my purse, one in my luggage and one in the bathroom at all times- i had dental implants on my upper dentures and spent a small fortune to have it done- within 2 years, all 4 had fallen out, one at a time- this product has helped me to adjust to an expensive, bitter, disappointment-

I have tried other brands of denture grip and this one is the best. I have been so stressed out applying grip to my dentures. I read the reviews last month and tried it. Here is a secret and it works great for me. I clean my teeth and make sure the inside is wet. I apply the powder and then sink the teeth in water all the way for a second or two. I put my teeth back in, and wah la! I am happy again. This technique works great!

I could not find this product anywhere, I was so happy to find it here that I bought 6 bottles. I was running out of the bottle I had and was dreading using a different adhesive, I have tried them all and this powdered Poly girp is the best it hold your denture all day. Only problem is if you drink alot of hot drinks it starts to melt and loses some of its hold.....Great..Product

I have been using Wernets Denture Adhesive since I got my upper denture three years ago. I have been very pleased with the adhesion. Now GlaxoSmithKline has taken it off of the market. So I am going to try the Poligrip Denture Powder and see if it works as well. I like the powder because I can shake off the excess powder before I put the denture into my newly rinsed mouth. There is something about putting something that ozzes on my denture that doesn't set right with me. It is the water in my mouth that activates the powder adhesive.
