The shape of the tampon gives a little extra protection on heavy days. Occasionally an applicator is defective and the product has to be thrown away, that's unfortunate if you're at work with a limited supply.

These are the only tampons that will prevent me from leaking, you can wear these up to 8 hours without leaks, that's good.

I have very heavy periods, so I thank God this product exists. I always buy it at drugstore.com because I find it difficult to find the large size box in any of the drugstores where I live. I use both the scented and unscented kind. They're both great.
