I have a need to take a large amount of calcium citrate and this product fills that need. Others have noted the size and difficulty of taking such a large pill but many pills are large and that needs to be overcome on your own! This product is a great value to me.

I was worried at first after reading the reviews of how large and difficult to swallow some people were saying these pills are. The pills are large, but not too large. They are also really smooth and go down fine with fluids. I've even taken them in a bunch with my other vitamins. Totally worth it to save some money.

There the same size and dosage but they're not coated and the edges are sharp and they stick in my throat half the time. I take other pills that are just as big, or bigger, but these always seem to stick and I struggle to get them down. If you can get past this problem, the price is excellent.

The pills are the same size or smaller than other brands of dosage this size. Calcium citrate is great because you don't have to take it with meals. This product is an exceptional value, especially for a person like myself who has to take therapeutic doses - I take 5 pills a day, so the savings add up quickly!

These are exactly the same in shape, size and dosage as Citracal+D and for the identical quantity, these cost less than half the price of that name brand. They're also non-constipating, being calcium citrate instead of calcium carbonate. So these get a high rating. I myself have no trouble swallowing them. They're perfectly smooth, but I suppose those who have difficulty swallowing tablets, capsules and caplets of any size might have problems, so such people should avoid these. (I've seen larger caplets than these with which even I have had trouble.) But for most adults who can readily swallow caplets with water, I don't think these will present a problem, and certainly no more than those Citracal+D's would.

I found this product to be very affordable at sometimes half the price of other brand named products. I think it's a great value. As to tablet size? I suppose it is large but it's the same exact size of the multi-vitamin and omega-3 capsules I take daily. It's not a problem for me. If it is for you, try this trick: take a swig of water, hold it in the back of your throat, pop the pill to the back of your throat and swallow all together. I've taken vitamins and pills like this since I was a kid and I've never had a problem.

I agree with a previous review- these pills are so HUGE they are dangerous. How can a company release such a product to the public? I am tossing the remainder of mine in the garbage.

These are the best calcium citrate pills I've taken. I have a very sensitive stomach and I have absolutely no stomach problems with them at all. Plus they have a nice amount of Vitamin D. Pills are on the large side - but I'd expected them to be on the large side, and I don't have a problem swallowing them.
