I started using this insect repellant because it was deet free. The first time I used this product I was going in a swampy environment at dusk. It worked fantastic! I did not even get bit once. I heard the mosquitos buzzing around but not one landed on me or bit me. I use this now for all my outing where I may encounter mosquitoes ...especially blueberry picking, hiking, and in the swampy areas I go to. It goes on wet but absorbs quickly - do not wipe it off.

I bought this for my 4yr old because its deet free. However the stuff smells so terrible that I cringe at the thought of using it. We were still bitten too. We are the kind of people that the skeets love to eat so I imagine it may have been somewhat effective, but not completely...not for us. We will continue using it as long as it's in our own backyard, but I wouldn't consider buying it again.

My family and I used the bug spray and still got tons of mosquito bites. It does not work!

We couldn't past the smell and the only time we tried, the kids still got bit.

This worked great first three times I used it, but last night we still got bit up, not sure why. It works good about 30-60 min, but then you have to reapply. I alwasy get really bitten by mosquitos, so this does help.

great for kids...but the whole family uses it!! no deet!! very effective!

The smell starts off a bit minty, then it transitions into a soapy scent and a bit of a citrus-y scent. I am used to herbal and natural scents, because my mother is Asian and she constantly uses natural garden herbs. But if you really care about the scent, rather than how the product protects your child, I don't see why you should purchase it. It works as it should though, and I personally love the scent. The only problem I had was how it dispensed. It can get a little tricky if you don't know how to work it. If you do it wrong, it will drip, but I don't care. I like how it's DEET free and Paraben free.

I have been using this on myself (i'm pregnant) and my two year-old. The smell is pretty bad but it keeps the bugs away.

I have just come in from my garden covered with mosquito bites even though I throughly sprayed myself with this stuff. This is the second and last time I will try using it. IT DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I have never used an insect repellent that was as ineffective as this one. Look elsewhere.
