A convenient and highly effective hydrogen peroxide based system for simultaneous cleaning, daily protein removal and disinfecting of soft (hydrophilic) and rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses as recommended by your eye care professional. Triple action cleaning. Sterile.
This product is ideal for you if you want excellent comfort, experience lens-related dryness and irritation with other solutions and are sensitive to certain chemicals.
What's Inside Makes the Difference:
3% Hydrogen peroxide: You see it working. Kills germs and bacteria that can cause serious infections. Bubbling action removes protein, dirt and build-up.
Disposable lens case with neutralizing disc: After neutralization, no preservatives or harsh chemicals enter your eye. Neutralizes the active disinfectant to create a gentle saline solution close to your own tears.
Pluronic 17R4: For clean, comfortable lenses. Built-in cleaner. Cleans soft contact lenses without rubbing.
Do not squirt Clear Care directly into your eyes or burning and stinging will result. Do not use flat lens case. Clear Care only works with the special lens case provided. Do not remove lenses from case until at least 6 hours later. The solution needs time to neutralize. Never rinse your contact lenses with Clear Care before your put them in your eyes. If you want to rinse lenses, use sterile saline.
There are no known contraindications for use of Clear Care. If you are allergic to any ingredient in this solution, do not use.

First and foremost: This is not a rinsing solution, this is a cleaning solution.
There are reviews that either love this product or hate it, but it is clear that the ones that don't like this product are clearly not using it correctly, because if you use it correctly you can only love it!
There are clear warning labels all over the packaging and the bottle that state 'DO NOT put this product directly in your eye'. It also clearly states that it is imperative to use the case provided (there is a mechanism inside that works with the product to create the bubbles and neutralize the solution). It also indicates that you MUST let this product work for a minimum of 6 hours (that is how long it takes for the product to work and neutralize into a safe saline solution). I've read reviews that say the labels weren't clear etc etc. There is a big red warning label written in bold and the bottle has a red cap (which means do not use directly in eyes). Anyone who can read and has common sense should be able to use this product without issues.
To use this product: take out your contacts (soft or hard lenses can be used), place them in the container provided and rinse the lenses in the case for 5 seconds. Then fill the container up to the line (no more, someone complained the case leaked, they probably filled it too much) and then place contacts inside and screw closed. Don't shake the case. Let it sit for minimum of 6 hours (overnight is good). You will see the bubbles working.
I did this exactly for the first time without problems. Before I put the lenses in my eyes I rinsed them with my OPTI-Free PureMoist contact solution just in case, even though it says it's not necessary. I had absolutely NO problems whatsoever. In fact, my contacts feel so clean and comfortable, it is the first time I am not bothered and it doesn't even feel like Im wearing them.
This is a fantastic product and if used correctly can make the biggest difference for those who wear contacts. I plan to use this product only 3 times a week for a good clean and to extend the use of my monthly contacts.
I highly recommend this product!

At first I was SOLD on Peroxicare. But after using ALL the peroxide based cleaners--OXYSEPT is the best, and is a holy grail product for me, and it's only Oxysept for me from now on; Oxysept is hard to get (online only), and you have to use a separate cleaner, BUT WOW! The daily vision and comfort from Oxysept is second to NONE. Peroxiclear offers some advantages, but for me it's in line after Oxysept in term of effectiveness and clarity of vision.
I had been using Clear Care, and thought it was a fine peroxide cleaner. I use a daily Miraflow type cleaner (as I'm fanatical about keeping my multifocals as optically clear as possible), and was using Clear Care or Puremoist after my daily cleaner, until I tried Oxysept. I loved Opti Free's Puremoist, as it makes my already comfortable contacts almost undetectable all day (but now Oxysept does this too!), but Puremoist causes my lenses to be less optically pure than they should be--it adds a ever a light semi-blur to my multifocal vision. Clear Care gets my lenses very clean, but offers no comforting factor (not that my Air Optix need it--but hey, if they can be a smidge more comfortable, what the heck...) Unfortunately after a couple of weeks, Peroxiclear also very so slightly compromised my vision as well, and I have now discovered Oxysept and it's crisper and clearest vision and incredibly daily comfort, and it's all I will use. Goodbye to Peroxiclear, goodbye to Clear Care, goodbye to Puremoist. Oxysept gets lenses CLEAN and adds a lubricant that lasts all day and does NOT affect my vision--something that all these modern formulas that "coat" your lenses with moisturizers do. I say NO to formulas that make my lenses less optically pristine.
Peroxicare coats the lenses with comfort factors that really do work--lenses are clean and have a more cushioned-ee comfortable feel. This comfort is great upon insertion and lasts pretty much through out the day, but not like in the morning, and not like more comfort oriented solutions, like Oxysept or PureMoist. But again, I think this coating is great for folks with contact lens comfort issues, but if you wear multifocals, the coating may slightly affect your vision. With my Air Optix, that are very comfortable for 16 hours or more, so I can live without the extra comfort addition. What I can not live with is the teeny amount of blur such formulas geared toward enhancing comfort add to Multifocal contacts in my experience. For others with comfort issues, the extra comfort and moisture might be a incentive to move away from Clear Care. This is a very personal decision. Actually, even though a PITA, I think Oxysept offers the best of all worlds--incredible cleaning and disinfection, and a lubricant thats offers comfort all day without ever affecting vision; though you do have to use a separate daily cleaner and RUB your lenses with Oxysept.
As advertised, Peroxiclear solution does not start to immediately bubble profusely like Clear Cares does. It bubbles rather slowly for over an hour (Clear Care bubbles profusely for 20 minutes and then stops). So I can literally see how the peroxide gets more contact time with the lenses. They do seem to get cleaner than with Clear Care, but the BLUR caused by the moisturizers in Peroxiclear is just a NO-GO for me…
After switching to Oxysept, I could see how much more incredibly clearer things can be optically--not a big difference, but for me with multifocal contacts (which already compromise your vision), it's enough that I will stick with only using Oxysept, even though it's expensive, hard to get, and makes for more work. But, my vision is worth it!
Comments about Clear Care Triple Action Cleaning & Disinfecting Solution, 1 Twin Pack:
Best way to clean one's contact lenses. I used to use the regular cleaning solution, but found that my eyes after two weeks would start to feel gritty. My Eye Doctor recommended that I start using Clear Care, as it did a much better job of removing the proteins and keeping then lenses clean than conventional lens solutions. And she was right. I have been using Clear Care for over 5 years now, and never had a problem.

I went to a new Opthalmologist and she recommended this solution for my contacts. I will never use any other brand again. I was to the point I was going to give up wearing contacts, that is how much they bothered me. All day, my eyes were itchy, irritated and drove me crazy. Ever since I started using this solution, the comfort of my contacts now is literally amazing! No more dryness, no more irritation. No wonder why my eyes were always bothering me, since they were just sitting in solution and were not throughly cleaned. I also have partially blocked tear ducts so this helps remove that unwanted residue and I notice my eyes don't water as much. Love this stuff!
Comments about Clear Care Triple Action Cleaning & Disinfecting Solution, 1 Twin Pack:
I love Clear Care! I use it with my 2 week replacemnt Acuvue Oasys and it keeps my lenses comfortable all day long, and helps keep them clean for the full 2 weeks. I even find that I wear the contacts up to a 3 weeks sometimes before replacing them. I've tried all the various multi-purpose solutions. Haven't really liked Opti-Free or Renu. I will say that Bio-True works decent. But, Clear Care is by far my favorite.

Do not use this product. I used it for a week and went through 3 pairs of contacts because it dries them out. First off it is way to harsh for the eyes. Even though I followed the directions, I didn't experience a burning sensation like most people have but I did experience extremely dried eyes even when I discontinue the product for a week.

Comments about Clear Care Triple Action Cleaning & Disinfecting Solution, 1 Twin Pack:
I started using this after I kept getting irritated dry eyes after using a regular multipurpose solution. My contacts used to stick to my eyes they were so dry. When I switched to this type my eyes suddenly never got dry or irritated. I feel like I can wear my contacts longer without even feeling them. I also think the bubbles clean gunk like mascara off the lenses far better than the multipurpose solution. The only con is that you have to let it sit for 6 hours. But well worth working around this!
To ensure proper disinfection of your lenses, you must follow the instructions completely. Do not skip any steps. Always wash and rinse your hands before handling your lenses. Please refer to the package insert printed on the inside of this carton for special instructions for RGP lenses.
Remove and place each lens into the appropriately marked L/R domed lens holder. Rinse with Clear Care solution for 5 seconds.
Fill the Clear Care lens case to the fill line with Clear Care solution and place the lens holder in the case.
Tighten the cap on the Clear Care lens case and store lenses for at least 6 hours. Do not shake the case.
Your lenses are ready to wear after soaking for 6 hours. No final rinse with saline is necessary. Dispose of your old Clear Care lens case with each new purchase of Clear Care solution. Always follow your eye care professional's instructions. Please refer to the package insert printed on the inside of this carton for detailed directions and important safety information. Keep Clear Care out of reach of children. Store at room temperature. Once bottle is open, discard any remaining solution after 3 months.
