This balm is unique co's it is effective without that camphor like smell that is an ingredient in many medicated lip balms. I don't know if this is considered a treatment balm but what a TREAT it is. With ingredients like coco butter, and aloe, the camphor is not strong to notice. It's spf 20 which I like as well. The cute jar has like a vintage feel. If they ever develop a stick version, it won't be the same, cos it's smooth, almost a creamy texture without being greasy or goopy. I also like the blistex medicated balm for its cooling effect but I especially love this balm. As soon as it goes on, I feel it working already and it blends well with lip sticks. I am really into lip stains this season and I put this on top and it will last a while.

This really works and smells good. It adds just a little shine but not like a gloss.

I use this as sunscreen around my mouth/lips to prevent cold sores from erupting (which are sun-triggered). I have been using this product (literally) every time I am outside during the daytime for about 20 years, and it has been FANTASTIC -- really works well, and I almost never get cold sores anymore, only on the rare occasion that I forget to bring or apply my Blistex! Strongly recommended. P.S. it also tastes/smells great.

I have used this nightly for years and my husband now uses it after having bad chapped lips following cold football games or long flights for work. I buy 5 or so from drugstore.com and keep them in the medicine cabinet and they last at least a couple of years. Light enough to wear to bed and not leave goopy kisses but still healing for those super dry lips. Does not have a strong taste or bad taste, just not flavored at all.

Before, I get very dry, chapped lips. I couldn't even use lip glosses, lip tints, let alone lipsticks as they won't swipe well on my lips. I tried several lip balms out there and they were ineffective, total waste of money. But thanks to this, I now have quite a few collections of lipglosses as I can finally wear them on. I use this before I go shower and the dry skin just melts away. I apply this before swiping my lip gloss on. Works immediately on wind burns and dry chappy lips.

iv tried a lot of diffrent lip balms and by far this one is the best. much better then chapstick or blistex medex. my lips used to be super dry and flaked a lot. iv been using this for a week and i can already see a big diffrence. and no more dead skin flaking! i recomend this to anyone who gets severe chaped lips.

There aren't many products which I love enough to actually sit down and write a review, but I love this stuff so much I had to! I have tried just about every lip balm out there, and can't stand the waxy tube kinds. So for the last couple years I've been a die hard user of the blistex in the blue jar, until coming across this while waiting in line at a drugstore while out of town. I fell in love instantly! I've never minded to medicine-y smell of medicated lip balms (I actually like it), but this one is a bit more mild, with a really yummy smell (probably from the cocoa butter...and I'm kinda embarrassed to admit to I said "Mmmmm!" when I first opened it), and feels so amazing on. I've gotten many comments on my lips and people always ask me what kind of lip balm I use! So anyway, I didn't realize how much I was in love with this, until somehow it disappeared from my purse and I haven't been able to find it in stores here anywhere. I hope drugstore.com always sells it, and I hope they NEVER stop making it, because it'll be the only thing I plan on using for the rest of my life!

I use this everyday after I wash my face and periodically throughout the day and I never have any problems with chapped lips. It's very soothing without having a bad taste and not super waxy like other chapsticks. I usually apply a lip liner along with it for a very natural look. I have been using this 15+ years, since a friend recommended it to me. Keeps my lips soft and healthy.

I purchased DCT after reading a recommendation in a magazine. I can't believe I haven't tried this before. My lips were so chapped it was embarassing. I've tried many products that only worked for a hour or two. DCT keeps my lips moist for most of the day. I even apply it at night and wake up with super soft lips :) I hope it works just as well in the winter.
