I really wanted to like this product; the combination of lip protectant and sunscreen with a touch of natural product made it seem like the perfect product and it would be were it not for the taste and smell...YUCK! There was no getting used to this for me. I had to throw it out

Just what I was looking for something that gives me protection from the sun, and at the same time gives me a hint of color. It makes my lips look so natural. The only think I don't like is the smell of it. But I am starting to get used to it, it is worth it.

I have to add to the raves here-- I find that Blistex is generally best with "basic" unisex lip balms, as opposed to "gimmicky" products (i.e., Lip Medex and DCT are great, while Spa Effects and Lip Infusion are useless). BUT Lip Tone is the big exception. I have fair, yellow-toned skin, and Lip Tone adds just the right touch of pink/brown color enhancement to my lips. I like to wear it over a nude-toned lipliner to improve the wear time, and make it look more defined. But it's great on its own, too. Even without the pigment, this is an extraordinarily smooth-textured and moisturizing balm. It protects lips for several hours very comfortably. It's not waxy or slippery or gloppy, just smoooooth. I took off one star because I'm not crazy about the scent. It's vanilla + chemicals.

I love this product, it is creamy and smooth. I love the color. I hate the way regular lipstick smells. This is so much better than lipstick. I cannot find it in stores anymore. I'm glad and relieved I can buy it online.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I have been using it for a few years now and wouldn't use anything else on my lips. It is creamy, and has a great tint to boost the natural color my lips. I purchased several tubes, because I cannot find it locally anymore.

I've been a devoted user of Blistex Lip Balm for years. It glides on smoothly, provides just a hint of color, and stays in place. I've also had difficulty finding it in area stores, and am relieved the product is still being manufactured, and readily available at drugstore.com at a reasonable price. What more could one ask?

I have LOVED this product for years! If you don't like to wear lipstick all the time, this gives you just the perfect hint of color... I buy 15 at a time, as I havent been able to find them in stores in several years...I never leave home without one in my pocket!

I haven't been able to find this lip balm locally for a couple years now, and was so happy to find it on drugstore.com. I don't like the fake-y look of lipstick, or the sticky gooey feel of lip gloss, but I love the subtle color of this product. I own one Clinique lipstick that I wear when dressing up to go out, but the rest of the time this is all I need. Great product.
