This product is great for volume! It makes my fine hair HUGE! Unfortunately, it smells terrible (kind of like stale cigarettes) and it makes my hair greasy fast. Usually I like to keep a blow-out for two days, but I can't with this stuff. I've tried using less, but the amount of volume seems directly related to the amount of product used.

I hate the feeling of product on my hands so this is great! It also makes it so much easier to get the product where it is supposed to go - your roots. Just lift up your hair, point and spray. I've been using it for many years with great success. It gives volume, is never sticky, and doesn't dry out my hair at all. I also like that it doesn't seem to build up on the hair shaft like some products can. They also make one for use in humid areas. That one does dry out my hair a bit, but I don't live in, nor is my hair affected by, humidity (I bought it out of desperation when I couldn't find the regular kind of spray mousse).

I have very baby fine hair which recently has been falling out due to stress. I've tried so many products and I just recently started using Big Sexy Hair root lifter. All you need to do is spray it on your roots (when your hair is still wet), rub it in a bit, and blow dry your hair away from the scalp. It literally makes my hair appear to be 5x thicker and fuller. It's been a miracle for me! I love it and I won't go back to anything else.

After experimenting with different less expensive brands (TREsemme, Pantene, etc.) I have to say that I'm never going back. I LOVE this mousse and use it every day by applying to damp hair and blow drying with a round brush, lifting each section and aiming the blowdryer at the roots first. Love the spray application, and it really gives my fine, slightly wavy hair long-lasting volume and body. Although it does not have the most pleasant smell, the odor does not seem to stick around in your hair too much after you use it.

I am a hair product junkie. I have used every single thing under the sun. For my baby fine, medium length hair, I LOVE this product. It is easy and somewhat fun to use as you spray it in like hair spray. It gives my hair tons of body, I can scrunch it or blow dry it "BIG" and it gives me the body, lift and soft hold I needed. I recently got long thick extensions put in my hair (regretting!) and I am still not sure how it works with them. For now, let me say with my REAL hair this stuff is LOVE. I also use the shampoo. Smells great, is what I have been looking for the last twenty years!
