Two of the main ingredients in Chi Silk Infusion are cyclomethicone and dimethicone, the same ingredients found in many Frizz Reducing products, and derived from silicone. This has some additional ingredients such as silk protein and panthenol (you can check the complete ingredients list by clicking on that tab) that moisturize the hair further. I use a quarter-sized amount. My hair is medium to long and tends to be dry. This definitely reduces frizz and I recommend it for anyone who uses a flat iron. The smell is okay - I'm not in love with it but there's nothing offensive about it. My only complaint is that it's expensive.

This product worked as well as anything I've used on my coarse, curly hair. Nothing will seal out the humidity and keep my hair straight on wet days, but this product worked better than most products, and I like the way it makes my hair feel.

I like this product. You only need a tiny bit to make a big shine.

I love this product! The key is to smooth it onto wet hair before you dry. I've always been dissatisfied with how awful my split ends looked between trims, but this completely smooths and softens them! The first time I used it I kept touching my hair all day cause I couldn't believe my hair could get that soft.

That was a waste of money. I wanted to try it because of all the hype. It's over-rated. It works okay when you first apply it but eventually your hair starts feeling heavy and dirty despite frequent washing, I can't find away to get back my original hair smoothness and light texture. I stopped using this product and will never use again. I am going back to my previous pray anti frizz product.

i used a pea drop and it made my hair look greasy and YUCKKK. not good for thin fine straight hair but good for dull thick meduim wavy prettycurly hair! i would buy a cheaper product for shine i am searching for it. it's somewhere! you know ;)

I think this product is so wonderful. I kept on hearing about Chi,read reviews,and I decided to buy it. A bit pricey,but worth it. I am African American with fine color treated hair. I used this for the first time a week ago,and wow. My hair didn't feel dry anymore,and it felt so so very soft. I couldn't believe the amazing results I got. I wish I had bought this a year ago when my hair was breaking. My hair feels great,now I know why they charge so much for a tiny bottle. Definetly worth it.

A little goes a long way. I apply it to my damp hair and prefer to let it air dry or will blow it dry and then run the CHI straightner through to get my hair super straight and soft. It helps eliminate frizz and adds a little moisture and shine to my hair.

I have frizzy hair and this product makes it smooth and silky. It keeps the frizz out!
