At first I loved this product, however I was back and forth on if I liked the menthol taste of it. While it can be soothing at times, it makes it a bit messy and sticky for kissable lips. This healed at first, but after a while it felt like it made my already chapped lips worse. I prefer the jar to the tip applicator. This got messy after applying it directly to my lips. I found that I had to pul it on my finger anyway before I put it on my lips just so the applicator wouldn't get all gooey. Bottom line is if you like the menthol thing give it a try. It's inexpensive so it is worth trying.

Our weather has been dry & my lips were chapped. Then I got a cold sore and tried several other products, but like CARMEX --in all its forms--as well, or better, than the most expensive remedies.

This stuff is great. It moisturizes your lips and its a life saver during the cold season but beware THIS IS NOT A LIP GLOSS. Its not going to give you lots of shine or give you long lasting its just a treatment for dry lips and to prevent them.

Although I don't like the smell, which is really chemical, no lip treatment can beat it. The best one I've ever used! Will absolutely buy again.

This stuff works, really WELL! I have used many different types of lip balms and all they seem to do is keep my lips temporarily moisturized or look glossy and keep them protected (get damaged any further). I have always had a dry part on the left side of my lip that I was ALWAYS picking at with my teeth and peeling of the skin, it would never go away. I just thought it was damaged since I had been applying chap-stick to it forever. I bought Carmex for the heck of it (in cherry flavor) and noticed how well it soothes. I didn't care for the soothing because I didn't think it was necessarily doing anything for my lips. A week later of applying this stuff regularly, my lips are much softer and that dry/cracked/ruff part of my lip is NOT there anymore! I am excited! It had been dry for over a year and to know something as simple and cheap as this would have fixed it so fast. It really does HEAL and keep your lips smooth!

I've used this for almost 20 years and it's the one that works. When I have wind burn, dry, or cracked lips, this not only gives me instant relief but heals. It's been hard to find in some areas but when I do, I stock up and give them away. The price is great! I always place a few jars and tubes within reach. It's the only balm my husband uses.

Great stuff! I'm a lip balm , and I tend to collect lip balms that have menthol in them. Love the vanilla smell, too. The menthol is really soothing. Just love it!

This is by far the BEST!! I use it all the time.. it doesn't leave my lips dry, chapped or burned like most other products I have used do. Plus-it's not that expensive!!
