This is the ONLY hair product I use, other than a mild shampoo-- it has replaced rinse-out conditioners, mousse, serums, and the thousands and thousands of other products I've tried (and hated!) for my coarse, curly, color-treated hair. I have reordered it many times and recommend it strongly for anyone with Mediterranean, Jewish, or multi-racial hair types. Over time, this product has actually improved the condition of my hair (something I thought was impossible from an externally-applied product). I simply don't struggle with the shapeless, dull frizz anymore!There is a secret to using this, because too much will make hair feel "crispy" and look stiff. You must use it on damp hair, right from the shower-- not on barely-damp or dry hair, or it will clump up! Concentrate the product on the ends of the hair and work through thoroughly with your hands or a comb, massaging the product evenly through hair. When your hair dries, simply run your fingers through it to "break up" any crispies. You will have shiny, soft, defined, fresh-smelling curls. I have gone high-end and low-end in my search for the right hair product-- and it was waiting for me for [$]!

The product works great. I use it on myself (kinky natural black-american hair) and my daughters (who have long, softer ringlett curls). It's a great conditioner and styling lotion. And mostly, it smells cocanut-ey and wonderful. But sometimes, when you start getting down to the bottom of the jar, it starts to smell really fishy and gross. I don't really know why, and it doesn't always happen. And it hasn't stopped me from buying the product. But I do sometimes have to throw out the last quarter or so of the gar because it starts to stink.

I used to have very, very dry and brittle hair, but this product has helped it become healthy again! It's also helped my hair stay healthy and moisturized after I've bleached and dyed it and makes it look natural (despite being dyed green and blue!). I usually apply it after the shower so it doesn't go on too heavy. If you apply too much (especially close to the roots) it'll make your head very greasy. Otherwise, I love it!

This is marketed for people of color with coarse hair; I am caucasian with fine hair, and I LOVE this product. It smells great, the price is unbeleivable, and it makes my fine, dry hair so soft and manageable.

I was looking to condition relaxed hair, but this product did not help. This product goes on wet. Once dry, it leaves hair brittle and stiff with a residue.

I use it after every wash, my hair grows and gets thicker from cantu products. It smells great and you don't have to be nervous about other people touching your hair and saying its greasy. I just want to roll around in cantu and marry it.......... -_- I really love it!

I have two daughters, one with very curly fine hair type and the other one very nappy thick hair. Both have dry hair. I have tried almost everything there is available in the market until I came across the Cantu Shea Butter leave in conditioning repair cream. I Found the perfect cream for both my daughters. It works on different types of hair and I just love the scent it leaves behind. Their hair does not look as dry and for my daughter that has curly hair. Her hair looks amazing. Very happy with this product.

This product smells so good, that I get comments on it all the time. However, for my hair I prefer something very rich that I can use in smaller quantities. The amount I use in my hair (about 2 teaspoons) adds a lot of moisture (as in water) to my hair, and makes it harder to air dry afterward. I like the amount of shea butter in here, but there's too much additional filler that is unnecessary. My solution is to use a tiny dab of it mixed with an equal size dab of virgin coconut oil. My hair is thick and wavy though. I wouldn't recommend this for fine hair. I'll probably keep looking to find a more ideal product for my hair, but when I do I'll miss the smell of this one!
Daily Styling - Apply to towel dried hair. Work a generous amount of product into hair beginning at the roots to the tips. Comb through for even distribution. Do not rinse. Apply more to longer hair at the ends or problem areas.
Leave In Treatment - Apply as directed for "Daily Styling" just after shampooing. Re-apply and cover with a plastic cap overnight for maximum absorption and intensive conditioning.
Frizz Free Hair - Apply daily to split ends or damaged areas. Comb through and let dry naturally.
