Indications
For the temporary relief of pain associated with canker sores, due to minor irritation or injury of the mouth and gums, or due to minor irritation of the mouth and gums caused by dentures or orthodontic appliances.

Warnings
Do not use

for more than 7 days unless directed by a dentist or physician

if you have a history of allergy to local anesthetics such as procaine, butacaine, benzocaine, or other "caine" anesthetics

When using this product

do not exceed recommended dosage

avoid contact with eyes

localized allergic reactions may occur after prolonged or repeated use

Stop use and ask a doctor if

sore mouth symptoms do not improve in 7 days

swelling, rash or fever develops

irritation, pain or redness persists or worsens

Do not use if glued end flaps have been opened or damaged or if tube tip has been cut prior to opening carton.

Keep this and all medications out of reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

One has to spit often while using this product, or it will cause gagging & numbness of throat, though temporarily. Use at night, too, to relax mouth enough to fall asleep.

I like this WAY better than Oragel. It heals little bumps on my tongue and reduces pain. It also stays on the spot where you put it so your entire mouth doesn't go numb. I also don't have to apply it as frequently like I did w/ Oragel. It works, i love it, get it!

I've had chronic canker sores my entire life and I have to say that this is by far the best product I have ever used to alleviate pain. I agree with the reviewer that says that the product does not adhere as well as one would hope, but I still believe it's the best product on the market and far superior to other liquids, gels or pastes. It actually does a decent job of adhering to sores, but let's be honest, there's no product that is going to work well inside the mouth.

I LOVE this stuff!! It's sooo much better than all the other brands (i.e. anbesol) because it's more of a paste that stays. Albeit you may swallow it as with any other canker sore medicine- BUT it doesn't numb your ENTIRE mouth like others. And the numbness isn't a minty numbness that takes away your taste buds- you'll be able to use it, AND be able to taste whatever you might be eating. This is great for anyone who gets the occasional canker sore or those who have braces and/or dentures that give them blisters. This stuff is a life safer!
