We just recently went to Disneyland in CA and if we didn't have MACK'S Ear Seals, we would have had to go straight home. Mack's ear seals are a God send, she uses them where ever we go, to the market, park, school, anywhere and everywhere. We think Mack's ear seals should be sold at theme parks like Disneyland for our children with Special needs. THANK YOU MACK'S for a Great product!!! Cons Best Uses Comments about Mack's Ear Seals Earplugs, 1 pr: They are soft yet strong enough to put in ear canal. After about a year tho they get too squishy to push in ear... so I just buy a couple more pairs. I've been using Mack's ear plugs for at least 10+ years. They are the only ear plugs I'd use. I can't hear a thing when I put them in and sleep perfectly.

Comments about Mack's Ear Seals Earplugs, 1 pr: My husband is hard of hearing, and when he swims without Mack's Ear Seals, water gets in his ears and makes his hearing loss worse. These ear plugs are very handy and do the job, and he does not like to swim without them. The attached string is very handy, as can be tied around the neck when not swimming.

Comments about Mack's Ear Seals Earplugs, 1 pr: I've been using these for years to keep water out of my ears when I swim. They are better than any other sorts of earplugs, and can be reused. I wash them with soap and water in between swims.

Comments about Mack's Ear Seals Earplugs, 1 pr: I've used these for years. I can't remember who first gave them to me, I think I found them in my Christmas stocking one year (thanks, Santa!). I have had sensitive ears since I had tubes put in them as a baby. My first pair must've lasted a year. I have found that washing in soap and water is the best way to clean them. I keep them in little plastic pill containers purchased from the Container Store. I use these for concerts, parades, fireworks, gun shooting (under the extra headphone-like protectors), movie theaters, public transportation, sleeping, and theme parks. Especially Disneyland, where even when you're just walking around, loud music is blaring at you (it's inescapable!). My downstairs neighbor thinks midnight is an appropriate time to crank up the tunes, so I have used them for sleeping, too. Thrilled to find them here!

Comments about Mack's Ear Seals Earplugs, 1 pr: Use these when I'm on the motorcycle to preserve my hearing. I already have tinnitus and don't want it to get worse. These are easy to use. I wash them after each use, and just keep them with my other riding gear. I can get about a months-worth of use from one pair. When they get a little difficult to insert (kind of rubbery, not as stiff as when new) and don't seem to keep the sound out as effectively, I use a new pair. Haven't used them for swimming, only for noise reduction.

Cons Best Uses
Comments about Mack's Ear Seals Earplugs, 1 pr: I used to get frequent "swimmers ear" until a Dr told me to keep water out at all times, even showers. The wax earplugs come off with water, last only one use. The in-your-ear kind are generally too big for my small ears, and uncomfortable. These work well, I use them daily while showering. Comments about Mack's Ear Seals Earplugs, 1 pr: I love my family, but three boys of varying ages aren't exactly conducive to peaceful naps and early bedtime (mine, not theirs!). Our nice neighbors have summer parties in the back yard, and open windows are necessary to avoid air conditioning. I have a small fan on my headboard, only for the white noise it provides for very low pitched sound. These earplugs actually work, a first for my super hearing, and I love them. I'm buying more because I detach them from their string for my convenience--and then lose them on rare occasions. I've got spares, but for these things, I want backups for the spares! Comments about Mack's Ear Seals Earplugs, 1 pr: I have VERY noisy tenants living above me and these earplugs are very helpful in blocking out the noise, though certain noise ranges can still get through. They seemed uncomfortable at first, but I've found that spraying a little water on them lubes 'em up for a sealed fit. They work much better than the foam-type plugs that don't always conform to my ear canals, leaving gaps which let in sound. Though I've purchased several pairs, I've never thrown any away since, with periodic rinsing, they all seem to work well. Comments about Mack's Ear Seals Earplugs, 1 pr: My husband snores. Sadly, most of the time, I can't just sleep through it, and my ear plugs didn't plug my ears enough - until now. Finally, I found an ear plug that is effective against noise. AND they are soft and comfortable to wear, plus tied to each other with a cord, so that you can't lose one (or both) in the sheets. These are worth every dime. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (3 of 3 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful?
