Smells heavenly-all Korres products rock!

This lotion makes me sad. I love Korres' products, but I will never buy this one (or any of the Basil Lemon collection) again. I read the reviews before I purchased, and I scoffed at the one that mentions the scent as drying to a wet rag smell, thinking surely that it was just a more 'herbal' scent than the reviewer was used to. The initial scent is very lemony, and as it absorbed, the lemon scent started to remind me of a commercial floor cleaner. I sniffed my arm and realized why: the wet rag smell! It honestly smells like a damp floor mop, or like a kitchen sponge that needs to be replaced. The best I can say is that it's so subtle that I think I'm the only one who can smell it. As far as moisture goes, it's not greasy and absorbs well. I live in a very dry climate so for me, this would only function as a frequent hand moisturizer- which is exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately the scent is disappointing, and at [$], I'm actually going to make the effort to return this one in favor of another scent.

First was exposed to this as a sample cream in a San Francisco hotel. Had to buy more, love the scent!

It works well; my skin was smooth and moisturized. I gave it only 2 stars though because the smell was simply unbearable. Nice and lemony at first but after a few minutes changed into a smell of an old, wet rag

I have tried just about everything out there when it comes to natural body lotions. This is one of my all-time favorites, hands down! The fragrance is addictive...if you like fresh, clean scents, i.e., Basil & Lemon. I have both the shower gel and the body milk, and when I use them both, my husband never fails to comment on how good I smell, and how soft my skin is!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
