For the price, this heating pad works just fine. The cover slips off too easy, but I fixed that by putting safety pins in it. Sometimes it gets a bit wrinkly and doesn't stay smooth, but that 's okay too. It heats up pretty quick, and you do have a choice in temperature so it all evens out in the end. I like it.

The only 2 annoyances are the rubbery smell it puts off when heating, and the cover sleeve continues to slip off--it needs a more secure, EVEN zip closure, OR even just simply extra snaps on the cover opening, so it can stay put and neat and soft. I always have to sew my own additional cover--UGH.

Price is fair. Not really made for everyday use, but will last a couple of years or so. The cord twists and tears and pad slides out of cover after a bit. Could probably use a better cover system, but again, for the price it works.

I purchased this Sunbeam heating pad to help relieve muscle cramps. It comes with a protective cover that the manufacturer states must be used. However, the single plastic snap that holds the cover in place was broken in bits upon arrival. Drugstore.com was good enough to send a replacement ... which arrived with the same defect. The defect makes the product unsafe and therefore unusable. Do not buy. The manufacturer must upgrade its materials and issue a new model.

This sunbeam heating pad is the perfect pad for me. Model #756-5 has no auto shut off so it stays on until I am ready to turn it off. No frills just a basic heating pad with 3 temperature settings, an inexpensive polyester cover and a long 9 ft cord. The price is right so I own several of this pad model that I use for an animal application as well as for my arthritis.

I have used heating pads for many years due to back pain so I have experience with many products. This is the cheapest, most poorly constructed heating pad I have ever seen. The pad is made of plastic that bunches up and won't lay flat. If you don't mind laying on a lumpy pad that won't lay flat - this product is for you! The only plus this heating pad offers is a on-off switch that doesn't shut off after a short period of time. If I had one word to describe this heating pad I'd say "junk."

This order was made to replace the same brand heating pad we had for many, many years. The size is perfect for me, the heat settings ample and there is no heavy control hanging and pulling on the cord.

It's difficult to find a pad without the auto shut off feature. This one works great and at a reasonable price. I have several of these. Good value and they seem to last.

This is a very basic, generic heating pad. I have a problem finding a LOW setting that isn't too hot for me. This one has a LOW heat that is just perfect. However, like many heating pads used daily, it lasts about a year before it starts to fall apart. The cord on this one has started to separate and has partially ripped at the point where it attaches to the pad. The sliding control sometimes needs to be "rebooted" to get it on the proper setting.

I am so glad it stays on and does not have auto-shut off. The last one that I had auto-shut off and it failed. I do not like the cover that comes with the pad. I make my own covers for the pads because I like an all cotton cover.
General Instructions: Slip the cloth cover over the heating pad and snap it closed. Plug into a 110-volt outlet and set control to desired heat setting. For detailed instructions, see manual inside.
Cloth Cover washing instructions: Remove cover from heating pad. Machine or hand wash, using a mild detergent and cold water. Hang to dry or machine dry on cool, gentle cycle.
