Purchased two of these but they do not do their job. As stated in another review, the hole is too small for even stale marshmallows. We tried to find anything else to make it work. We ended up making our own marshmallow blow guns out of plumbing pipe and electrical tape that were more fun.

I bought the bow and the launcher for my children for christmas. I bought mini marshmallows and let them get stale for over a week. Come christmas morning, the marshmallows fit in the chambers but are way to big to make it out of the too small hole in the end. We have not gotten one successful marshmallow to shoot out of either one. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

This thing is awesome! one tip, don't hold it too close to your arm when you release...i got a little plastic burned. This is great for random fits of insanity or your daily drive by, lol. Enjoy! this bow and mallow is more powerful than the marshmallow blaster.

We bought 7 of these for our kids and nephews for Christmas. Everyone we gave one to loves it. It's best if you leave the bag of marshmallows out for a few hours before loading the bow so they are not as sticky. The best thing about this toy is it is almost impossible to get hurt when hit with the marshmallows! I have let my kids shoot me point blank to see if it hurts and it doesn't! It is a huge hit at my house and lots of people have asked where we bought them from so they can get them for thier kids! [...]

I got this item for my dad, who is a hunter, and he loved it. We had a whole Christmas Carnage fiasco that lasted till the wee hours of the morning. I also purchased other Marshmallow Shooter products for the rest of the boys, and now i have to purchase one for myself for protection. Some of the reviews talk about the marshmallows get stick...FYI, the pieces all come off for easy cleaning, it's got to be clean in order for the marshmallows to shoot. Average of 15ft distance, you can even load it just right so it will shoot up to 7 marshmallows at a time. DO NOT use older marshmallows that are sticky. We used "Fun Mallows" from Kraft for a fabulous flavor burst

This product would be fun if it functioned properly. The parts would not stay together--the tension is too tight and it snapped apart. The marshmallows would easily clog making it frustrating.

Hold Bow with one hand: Grasp the bottom grip with one hand and use free hand to pull on the plunger tubes.
Pull Bow string back: Draw backwards on plunger grip until string is tense
Launch marshmallows: Let loose of the plunger grip to release the Bow string and shoot marshmallows.
