I bought this for the Fat Cats at the local shelter where I volunteer. They loved it, however, they loved it a little too much!!!! They destroyed it and now have no exercise "machine". It needs to be sturdier. but it is a great product!!!

My cat scratches on many items - some acceptable - most not ! I have tried other designated cat scratching posts/devices and she ignored them all. I got one of these scratching mats and attached it to a carpeted cat nest that she had scratched much of the carpeting off of. After ignoring it for a week - she started scratching on the sisal section of the Scratch O Rama ! I was so impressed that I ordered a couple more. One I attached to another piece of furniture that she scratches on and one I left laying on the floor. She uses them all ! She likes to lay on/roll around on the one on the floor and the vertically mounted ones simulate scratching on a tree outside. I feel better as I know it is good for her claws as well as makes it easier on home furnishings.

I was surprized at just how much use these mats got from my "not kittens anymore" cats. THey LOVE them. One of the funniest things in the world is watching an older cat take a flying leap onto this mat and watch it slide across the floor. LOL One of the other cats will lay on the floor and pull the mat over her head, then spring up, run across the room, come back and attack the scratchy part. THey really get great exercise and the mats fit right in to almost any nook or cranny in the room. I actually had to come back for two more because over the course of (I'm guessing) two years they did start to show some wear. Your cats will go crazy over these mats but I reccommend getting one for each cat.

Just received this today and both of my cats love it. I came back on to order another one so they don't have to share. They are taking turns scratching and then sleeping on the mat. Great product.

Both cats knew this was for them, both loved this and good thing I had also gotten the plain mat as they each picked a favorite and slept side by side on top of their chosen favorite FAT CAT Big Momma pads. "WICKED FUN"!! This is how my cats would describe this. I have never been so amused by watching my cats play until I got them this mat/scratch-o-rama with Zoom Around the Room catnip. OMG are they funny!!! I would take the advice given about purchasing each cat a mat, as my cats often "argue" over who gets it when. I recommend this for anyone with cats

My cats love this mat. Before I bought it they were using my furniture and I didn't know what to do. So, I took a chance and they love it. I am now going to buy another one!
