by Jan[Verified Reviewer] in Bluffton, SC on 8/20/08
Pros: Easy To Use, Gentle, Refreshing, Soothes Eyes
Best Uses: Daily Use, Dry Eyes
Bottom Line: recommended
Optive is the best by far and my Ophthalmologist has tried me on all. Systane is runny and blurs my vision for a good while. Optive is soothing and causes no visual problems. I have a serious dry eye problem so I am pleased to find a product that works well.
Optive Lubricant Eye Drops rates 1 out of 5 stars, from 13 customer reviews.I would NOT try this one again
by Dee Dee[Verified Reviewer] in Ohio on 7/22/08
Cons: Burned, Harsh, Irritates Eyes
Describe Yourself: Cataract surgery Dry eye
Bottom Line: not recommended
While I see many positives for Optive, it didn't work that way for me. (I wish it had) I was given it after Cataract surgery and esp. for dry eyes. WOW I went thru the roof as if I'd put lye into my eyes. The doctor gave me Systane instead and it worked much better for 'me'.
