I swim a lot, and I use it alongside Ultra Swim shampoo and conditioner. Chlorine is very hard to get rid of, but this seems to do the trick

This is the BEST cleansing shampoo on the market. I use this every other day or every 3rd (not much oil in my hair) to get rid of styling "gunk"; hairspray, gel, mousse, etc and your hair comes out squeeky clean and ready to go again!! I've tried Suave and Pantene but always come back to Herbal Essence..

My youngest daughter and I both swear by this shampoo! I have long slightly wavy hair and she has very long straight hair. We both have fairly normal hair, a little oily at the roots and a little dry at the ends. The biggest problem for us is the very hard water where we live. No shampoo seemed to rinse well enough to really make our hair look clean and shiney. Degunkify lathers great in the hard water and rinses clean. It doesn't over dry our hair and it smells very nice. We sometimes use a little conditioner on our ends, but it doesn't dry the scalp out, or make it feel tight or itchy. All in all...we think it's the best shampoo ever!

This shampoo is great for oily hair. I have to shampoo twice with other brands--but not this one. The lather is rich and I like the fragrance too--not too strong. It didn't tingle for me at all no matter how long I left it on; but I would definitely recommend this to anyone with oily hair or to remove product from hair periodically.

The smell is a little overwhelming for me, but my 15 year old son needs a shampoo that cleans his oily hair sufficiently that he only has to shower before bed, and he likes this one.

My husband loves this product!!! He had lost faith in all of the shampoos that promised to really clean his oily hair. Degunkify does the best job at really making his hair look and feel clean. Plus, we both love the fragrance! We tried Drama Clean one time, and my husband really didn't like the smell, nor did I. We're very happy with this product.

This shampoo is less effective than Herbal Essences Drama Clean. I could still feel product on my hair after rinsing. The "tingle" isn't worth letting the product sit on top of your head for the extra 3 or 4 minutes it takes to kick in. It left me feeling cold as though there were an icy draft in my house centralized around my head. I guess it would be nice if you lived in a hot climate and had no AC...2 stars because it smells "OK".

I love this product! It's probably the best clean out of any shampoo I've ever used. It thoroughly cleans my oily hair and keeps it clean for more than a day without drying it out. I can't give a completely unbiased review on the non-drying because I use it with the conditioner, which detangles and smoothes out my hair. I'm a fan of the smell. If you wait about a minute or scrub it into your scalp really well, it feels tingly.

This feels amazing, except you have to wait a minute for the tingle to kick in. It cleans my hair so well. A MUST BUY for anyone who uses any beauty products that cause buildup!

I purchased this shampoo for the tingling effect. There was no tingle! It is just regular, clarifying shampoo. This shampoo is no better than the Suave Clarifying shampoo that costs 89 cents.
