How Do HaloShield Odor-Control Antimicrobial Underpads Work?  When the HaloShield Odor-Control Antimicrobial underpad is laundered with chlorine bleach (EPA registered chlorine bleach), it is "rearmed" and "recharged" for maximum odor control.

After the soiled and wet HaloShield underpad is "recharged" with bleach, the HaloShield underpad is once again ready to kill odor-causing germs as they come into contact with the HaloShield underpad, thus controlling and eliminating unpleasant odors.

Launder with chlorine bleach before first use.   Wash regularly with chlorine bleach.  Machine wash and dry.  Do not use fabric softener.
