This backpack is amazing! It's great for taking on camping trips or for everyday use. The shoulder straps are comfortable and the backpack is lightweight but feels durable. Before I got this backpack I never had enough space for everything I needed to carry with me. But this one has a pocket for everything. Best yet, on those days when you don't need to carry a lot, you can take the "wings" off. I like to use it for hiking and camping. The poncho and blanket come in especially handy for this. So do the gloves on those colder nights. I feel safe taking this out with me when I go hiking. I'll never need to get another backpack again.

Really love this pack; it's a great place to start building a really serious emergency kit. We have several (one by each exit) and have added some really basic things that we were surprised weren't in there like aspirin, naproxin, q-tips, a whole box of bandaids, surgical tape, gauze, ace bandages, instant hot and cold packs, and scissors. We also added more advanced items such as a suture kit, stethescope, electric thermometer, and blood pressure meter.

I am very happy with this product and to have it all set and ready to go for an emergency...I have added some additional items to it and have set up an additional backpack as well.
