I have loved Ecover over the years and was disappointed when my market stopped carrying it. I ordered some from Drugstore.com. The picture on the website showed the old bottle and I ordered 4 bottles (!!). When the order arrived, I noticed that the bottle was different and listed a "Spring Tulip" scent. This is terrible and I'm now stuck with 4 bottles of stuff that I won't use. Drugstore.com should have let the buyer know on the webpage that they were shipping a new formulation. I would never knowingly buy detergent with a scent!

The old formula was good, it rinsed easily and had NATURAL ESSENTIAL OILS, the new version does not rinse well and reeks of fake perfume scent--weak on stains too.

I use Ecover Delicate Wash mostly to wash my down throws. It can also be used to wash delicates. It is very gentle, unscented and safe for sensitive skin. The only drawback is that it is so gentle it doesn't remove stains.

Like others that have reviewed this product, I have used the delicate wash for many years and loved it. However, the bottle that I recently purchased is a different story. It has an extremely strong scent, similar to air fresheners. The scent lingers even after the clothes are dry. I will switch to Woolite since the scent isn't as strong.

I've used this product for years on my delicate clothing and loved it. However they've changed the formula -- the smell is horrible. On the ingredients list, you now read 'fragrance' instead of 'plant derived fragrance'. So strong and chemical-smelling. I still have every window open in the laundry room to try and air it out. It has been two days since I did a load with this soap, but the smell won't budge.

Overall, the ingredients list is dramatically different than before. I'm so disappointed that a once great product is now ruined. I'll be finding something else to use to wash my delicate clothing.

Love this! I only use natural laundry cleaning products. This is effective and gentle. I love the light pleasant smell.

I used Ecover delicate wash on my lingerie and sport fabrics (like spandex running tights) for years. It was gentle and had a lovely slight scent that faded when the garment was dry. The new formula is so horrible that when I opened the bottle, I thought it had gone bad. It smells like fermented grape soda and toilet bowl cleaner. I am not exaggerating even a little bit. I washed one test load and set it to dry over the heater vent, and my husband called me at work to say the entire house stank like a public lavatory. I contacted the company with my complaints, but they didn't seem impressed. Maybe all these reviews will make them revive the old formula.
