I was using a liquid detergent and found the cleaning ability was sub par, and that it had clogged up the mechanics of my machine. After researching EWG, I found Ecover to have the lowest rating/level of toxins, and a high success rate for cleaning, and that has been true.

Works great in our machine, leaves dishes squeaky clean, no residue. I don't use the box spout, but rather cut the whole top off and use a small scoop -much easier to use this way.

It cleans fine but I have a huge problem with the box design. It's so difficult to use without making a mess. I won't buy it again for that reason.

I seemed to have problems with this from the get-go. The easy open flap would not easy open and it ripped off. As a result of that it couldn't be reclosed and the detergent started clumping together some without being able to close it off from moisture.
I washed some wine glasses that have been being washed just fine for a couple years with method tablets, and a variety of other dishwasher detergents, and they got scratched up. I figured this was not unexpected since normally it would be recommended to wash those by hand, but now all my wine glasses have the circular scratches around the top inch of them.
Today however, I pulled out a thick glass bowl that has been pristine for years, and washed numerous times in the DW. It now has a number of small scratches, and a few pretty deep ones. My glass teapot I just washed is also scratched.
Overall I feel like regular dishes aren't getting cleaned as well either, a few items usually have some greasy residue and have to be rewashed.
Glad for those who have found this great, but II feel the results of this past month have been very disappointing, and am going back to method tablets.

I had a high hope of using this product because it's eco-friendly, but the result is somewhat disappointing. My dirty dishes and glasses didn't get cleaned well. I tried full loads and half loads, but results are not that reliable. I am switching to Cascade, or other conventional dishwashing detergent.

Excellent dishwashing product! I slightly prefer the tablets, but both are wonderful products that actually get the dishes clean!

I like that I can use the dishes right out of the dishwasher without having to rinse off the harsh cleaner and chemical smell of the more well known brands.

I also like that it's gentle on the environment.

No white residue on dishes. Works great! We tried many, many other types and have finally found one that is just what we wanted! We really love it!

Well, I hate powders and liquids, but I thought I'd give this a try. Thinking a powder would be more economical than tabs, I assumed I would get the same great results from this as the Ecover tabs. WRONG!!! I have to fill the cups completely, only to find out that not all my dishes get clean. Same water, same dishwasher, same cycle, different results. I get perfectly clean, sparkling dishes every time with the tabs, they are great!!
