Product failed utterly to work regardless of battery choices. Company required mailed return at purchaser's expense on promise of provision of properly operating unit; then returned equally useless unit which shot off water tips at every use attempt; then insisted on second mail return at purchaser's expense -- both purchaser returns costing 1/3 purchase cost. In sum, a product and corporation to be avoided.

I love this product. I use it daily. The batteries I used were Energizer and it worked fine for 6 months before it stopped working altogether. I just bought another one. I've used other water jets and they stopped working within a week.

I use Waterpik on daily basis, purchased this for travel. Would not recommend at any price - you would receive stronger benefit by simply swishing your mouth with water. On second thought...you could use as an eye washer?

very easy to use , compact, good for traveling , I have it for over 3 years , when weak , just change the alkali battery , works real well again , I like to add 2 teaspoonfuls of hydrogen peroxide per 10 ozs of warm water , feels good

I like the portabliity. I am overseas and it is battery operated. Easy to use and effective.

It didn't seem to run well on rechargable batteries, Worked alright with regular alkaline.
It should come with a brush tip standard, I had to get one elsewhere. I use it at work. The design is not particularly user friendly. I want to like it but they could have done a much better job in designing this. I 'll lean slightly to a favorable mention, I 've only used it a few times so far.

Was terribly disappointed considering Interplak's reputation. Stream of water was so weak, couldn't even manage to get bread out from under tension wire on braces. Used it once and put it back in the box.

I wouldn't recommend this unit at all, for one glaring fault. I used for two weeks and the batteries had to be replaced. Think of energy cost and inconvenience or replacing the batteries. The purchase of rechargeable batteries made no sense because a replacement unit that had a built-in rechargeable battery works better for me

I used the Interplak Dental Water Jet for 7 weeks while traveling. I needed to replace the batteries at 6 weeks. The machine still ran, but the power had slowed. I was using it at least 2 times a day, sometimes 3 times.
The water jet is a great product. My experience with another brand was terrible.
