I got an allergic reaction to these. I put them in my eyes and instantly my eyes started to burn and itch. It was a good thing I still had some of my old brand still in the house. I used that to flush this one out. I'm not sure what ingredient caused that for me.

I've had dry eye issues for years, including two eye surgeries. Similisan Dry Eye Relief works great for my eye issues.

I have had dry eye for several years and Similasan Dry Eye Relief is the only eye drop that works for me since I can only use an eye drop that is preservative free. The individual single use droppers are sterile and so easy to use. About 1/2 an hour after using Restasis I use these drops and I find one dropper is enough for both eyes (just be careful not to let the dropper touch your eye). I use Similasan again in the evening and my eyes are comfortable all day!

This is great. Unlike the prescription product my mother uses, or the over-the-counter my son use to use, my eyes feel gently lubed even hours after using this product. Both of their products worked for about 2 minutes. Took a chance and glad I did.

By the way, I followed another reviewer's advice and put the drops in 15 minutes before putting in my contacts. I have to consult my eye doctor first.

I've tried lots of eye drops for my diagnosis of Dry Eye Syndrome (due to hysterectomy in 2001 and lack of hormones). This is now the only eye drop that I use. It's immediately soothing. The others I tried were soothing as well, but were such a thick formulation, that I couldn't see or read for about 10 minutes after using the drops. When you work in the public and use a computer, you need to be able to put in your eye drops and continue on with your clients, without fumbling for things on your desk. Try these drops..they're a lighter formula..very nice. I won't buy anything else, except the Genteal eye ointment for night. Try sleeping with an eye mask as well. It helps a lot in keeping in the eye moisture.

Prefer not to put mineral oil or synthetic lubricants into my eyes.

Applicator offers more control than any other product that I've tried. Less likely to smear eye make up or run down cheeks. Actually stays in the eye!

In general I like the bottle better, since it puts out a better dose (I gave it a 5 star), however, I like these little vials if I am going somewhere special and don't want to mess up my eye-liner, since they do put out only a tiny amount (smaller droplet compared to other brands, thus less messy), and don't tend to spill over.

This is my absolute favorite brand of drops for dry eyes, and I think I have tried them all. It has helped me get back into contacts. I use the drops before bed and when I wake, and this makes it so I don't need them much during the day.

The eye dr. told me to take them a good 15 minutes before putting contacts in, and not to use while wearing them, since it hasn't had a trial with contacts, to her knowledge.
