I have only been using this cream for a couple of days, but am already having some great results on my face. I am using this in conjunction with the CeraVe cleanser, and the red acne scars on my face have started to fade. I have also noticed an improvement in my skin tone and moisture level. This cream feels very lightweight and you should put it on sparingly, so that it does not get greasy. I have tried this on my hands with gloves at night, and have not yet seen any improvement in my atopic dermatitis or eczema, but I will continue to use it and see if it starts helping.

Excellent product, this was prescribed by my dermatologist, I have severe dry skin and my fingers are always cracked and bleeding all the time; now it is better and my daughter also is using the cleanser and lotion on her face and her acne is getting better. Thanks CeraVe!

I complained to my dermatologist that I could not find a cream that truly worked on my dry, rough winter-skinned hands. She gave me a sample of CeraVe. One use and I was SOLD! This is the best cream I've ever used. I like the fact that I can apply it to my hands at bedtime, get up the next morning and shower and my hands still feel great. I've shared CeraVe with my co-workers and they all agree it's great. I keep a jar of it at my workstation and it gets used by everyone throughout the day. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CeraVe!!

I have eczema and I can use more or less any product without irritation; the problem is nothing actually keeps my skin hydrated very long. I tried using this cream as an alternative to Eucerin cream, which I hate since it's so thick and greasy. I vastly prefer this; it's just as effective and much more pleasant to apply, and the moisture does last for quite a while. This seems more effective than both Lubriderm and most Aveeno products I've tried (though I still prefer the Aveeno lotions for intraday use). I stick to using this after showers or before bed, and it does good things.

I never liked the feeling of lotions and creams but this one absorbs without being greasy and it moisturizes so well without any offensive perfumes or dyes and it moisturizes all day long. It is truly a miracle cream. Plus I only use it on my face so I will have this jar until I die. You only use a little bit. I cannot say enough about how amazing this product is.

The lotion is really super thick and creamy, so it was perfect for my dry skin. I have patches of severe eczema, and even the lotion geared toward sensitive skin burned and stung. My dermatologist recommended this because of its fragrance and because its dye free. Using it once or twice a day for a month has eliminated all my eczema. This thicker formula is great, but this also comes in a pump form which I find easier to use because it absorbs faster and spreads easier. I wish I could give this product more stars.

I confess I am lotion fanatic. I have so many different types and sizes and have tried so many brands, but I have finally found the one that works for me. I have a mild form of eczema and also have dry elbows and cracked heels in the winter and this is the only moisturizing cream that has ever helped alleviate these conditions almost immediately. The cream itself isn't heavy or goopy - it blends right in and it works wonders. Now I don't have to be embarrassed about my dry cracked heels in flip flops anymore! I highly recommend this product!!!

CeraVe, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways... I love this whole product line. NO FRAGRANCE! Hurray! I have oily skin that gets surface dehydration, and this is the best moisturizer I have every used. I can moisturize where I need it and not break out. A first. Rich moisture without the greasy mess or feel. Wonderful!

As others have indicated, it is a superior moisturizer, especially for eczema! So I'm only commenting on the "cons" 1) packaging - I would prefer a pump or tube to the tub - and 2) fragrance. Some have said it's fragrance-free, but I think it has a sort of diaper cream/medicinal smell.

I have lurked in the comments section of drugstore.com for a long time but this is my first review. I am really impressed with this product. After reading all the reviews I was still a bit skeptical, so just for fun, I decided to experiment by trying Cerave only on one leg for a few days. The difference is clear. I have severe dry skin on my legs, but after just 3 applications of Cerave, I could feel the difference. The leg I had used Cerave on felt silky, compared to the other one which was still rough and scaly. I am not saying this totally cured my dry skin, at least not yet--but it feels markedly better and softer and is not itchy at all (my dry skin sometimes gets very itchy). Oddly enough, I noticed it most when I got out of the shower: as I ran the towel down my Cerave leg, it was like drying a smooth silky surface, while drying my untreated leg felt almost like rubbing a block of rough wood in comparison. Highly recommended. Experiment for yourself!
