I have diabetes 2 and I take one pill at lunch and 1 at dinner. I find that it helps not to spike my sugar after I eat. Of course you do need to discuss this with your doctor.

I was taking medications for my insulin resistance that made me sick & my hair fall out. This pill was a life saver. I ordered it after doing some research and then brought the bottle with me to talk to my Dr. He ok'd my switching to this, so long as I stuck with my dietary guidlines (which I have). My glucolse level continues to be better and maintain and I don't have any of the awful side effects of Metformin. My nails & hair have begun to grow in stronger and healthier than ever before - added bonus! The only downfall of the pill is it is little thick, but not bad and its not coated, making it hard to swallow sometimes. That said, if it gets stuck - you're just left with a cinnamon taste in your mouth. Not bad at all! I also love that you only need to take it twice a day and It is actually cheaper than the script I was taking!

Began taking this to help process sugars and carbs--but quickly noticed it has the effect of making my hair & nails grow longer and stronger. Love this product.
