I keep this with me always. It's easy to apply and fits right in my pocket. It works great on bug bites as well as itchy skin rashes.

I like that I can just throw this in my purse and always have it on me. I live in the south and we have plenty of bugs, so you never know when you're going to get bitten. This product is perfect for me and I like that there's no funky ingredients I'm left wondering about.

We have a cottage in northern Wisconsin where bugs abound anytime after May. My family is very conscious about preserving the environment there, and we've tried all sorts of remedies - citronella plants, rubbing onions on bites, etc. This is by far the easiest (and best smelling) way to deal with the itchy bug bites.

I really enjoy this stuff, I have sensitive skin so sometimes when I get bit by a mosquito it'll flare up to the size of a nickel! This really controls the flare up and itching. Just put it on once and a few minutes later you'll forget about it. also like the ResQ Ointment in the tin, but I keep it at home as it can collect dust or dirt inside, I think it works better, but this one is very convenient and better to share so you dont have other peoples fingers in your tin! As far as the smell goes... I honestly can't remember, I never have to use much so I really never smell it on. I don't think it is so much a bug repellent as it is for bug bite relief! And it stays on really well for me, I can play or sweat, and the effects last! I shared it with all my friends in FL, since we were always getting bit in the sands and grass. Seemed to work great for them as well.

It doesn't go on easy. So, if you have a mosquito bite you have to really rub the stick on the bite - which irritates it more! They need to improve the product a bit

This stuff actually works pretty well. I'm back to get 2 more, for my purse and another household location. You put it on, it makes you itch like CRAZY for about a minute. Then you forget that you have the bite for several hours - which is what it is supposed to do. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for that first minute where you have to grit your teeth and bear it. But it isn't too bad, and worth the results.

This is one product that actually works instantly.

Overrated product. I purchase this because it uses natural ingredients instead of chemicals. However, it was not effective on my daughter who gets mosquito bites. She is still very itchy.

Love this product! It is small and easy to carry with you. I like that it is all natural rather than using other products. Most important-it works!

I've used several of the Burt's Bees products with success; I like the natural ingredients and the products are generally effective. This I gave two stars because it did work somewhat, but I found it so uncomfortable to apply I have to be just about itching to death before I grab it. It's like putting a dried-out Chapstick on your skin: waxy and stiff, and when you're dragging that across an already tender area (like if you've been scratching at a bite) it's very uncomfortable. Pulls at the skin. Anyway, it did offer some relief, but I think the unpleasant dryness of the waxy thing outweighs the benefits, IMO. And let's face it, it's not cheap, so it was a disappointing purchase.
