This is the fastest drying and least greasy sunscreen I have found for the face. Love it!

I had been looking for years for an effective sunscreen that didn't irritate my sensitive skin or leave it looking shiny when I finally found Uber-Dry. I like how this really does go on dry and leaves a dry finish - with most sunscreens, it's not two hours before I have to blot all of the oiliness and greasiness from my face. I didn't have to do that with Uber-Dry. The downsides are that it's not great for dry skin or dry patches and can flake off if you don't give it enough time to absorb. The few times I've had dry patches, usually in the winter, my skin felt itchy when this went on. But for oily areas, this is fine - just make sure to take care of any dry areas. Also, if you don't allow this to absorb long enough, say, 15 minutes before applying make-up, it really will flake, but only minimally. Uber-Dry isn't perfect but for now, it's the best option out there for oily skin.

First off, I have always had trouble with extremely oily skin that is also quite sensitive. This presented as a big problem being that I am a dermatology resident. I have tried dozens of oil control moisturizers (ClarinsMen shine free gel, dermalogica clarifying mattifier, dermalogical oil free matte block, nivea oil control lotion, paula's choice daily mattifying lotion, etc. etc...) to combat this problem and never found effective results. Although they seemed to work early on, by noon my face was either shiny again or covered by a white residue. The only product that had worked for me is Jack Black's All Day Oil Control, but I wanted something with SPF. I tried this sunscreen a few months ago and have not missed a day since. I use this in place of a moisturizer every morning after showering and letting my face air dry. My face stays shine free through the late afternoon. It does not irritate my skin at all nor clog any pores. I recommend this product to anyone with oily skin looking for a real solution.

I've been looking for a daily sunscreen with 30 SPF that doesn't make my oily face oilier. Finally I've found one. This goes on dry, isn't heavy or greasy. Everything else I've used always left my skin tacky and sticky. I haven't had any breakouts nor any flaking. I love this product and will not use any other sunscreen on my face again.

I have applied sunscreen every day religiously since I was 18. I used to use PTR Ultra-Lite Oil Free SPF 30. When I went to reorder about 2 months ago, I noticed that that particular line had been discontinued, and since I was always slightly by a shiny face halfway through the day, I decided to give this supposedly comparable product a try. I hate it, plain and simple. It does go on smoothly and dries quickly. However, once dry, it has a tendency to flake off if you touch your skin too much, which makes applying makeup a pain. It also completely clogged up my pores, giving me zits in areas I haven't had zits since I was 15. After about the 5th major eruption, I realized my face wasn't just adjusting to a new product, but rebelling against it. If you at all have blemish-prone skin, STAY AWAY!!!!

I have been using PTR's Ultra-Lite sunscreen for years, big fan! But when Drugstore.com stopped carrying it, I gave this so-called Uber-Dry a try. Big expensive mistake. It goes on like toothpaste, but worst of all, it can sort of peel off in unattractive little pieces. Disgusting! Ultra-lite still available elsewhere, thank goodness.

I am Black, with oily breakout prone skin and I love this sunscreen. I used to use Neutrogena sunscreen, but I was only settling -there was a white film and was a little greasy even though it claimed to be oil-free and non-greasy. The Uber Dry REALLY does what it says. I had no white film, no hint of shine, no greasy feeling at all. zip. nada. zero. Highly recommended by Paula Begoun.

I have been using Peter Thomas Roth sunblock for the last 4-5 years. I use it religiously,every single day under my make-up. I started using it primarily b/c being in sales I was driving extensively everyday (tons of exposure thru somewhat tinted windows),and now I just sit by a window all day. I'm somewhat phobic about my face. I even apply on foggy, rainy days.. just in case the rain clears up. I dont want to be caught off guard. I also apply it my hands.. sun damage on hands is just as scary. I apply it before my makeup, allow it a few minutes to sink in & apply your make-up. I have combo skin, definitely oilier in the warmer months and I never have a problem with excessive oiliness or shine. But occassionaly you can if you apply to much. I'm 40 y/o, but people think I'm about 32 and I attribute it to religious sunblock usage and great moisturizers.

This sunscreen is everything it claims to be. As a guy looking for a daily sunscreen that wasn't shiny or sticky, I've tried a LOT of products. None compare to this one. It truly is dry to the touch and undetectable. No odor. No shine. Love it. Hope PTR never stops making it.
