Average, not great...

I thought this was just an average shampoo for oily hair. It has a strange consistency, very watery, but it does clean the roots/scalp and leaves it feeling clean. However, it also leaves the rest of your hair very dry even WITH a good conditioner. It lathers okay, but need a lot of the shampoo to work. I like the natural ingredients, but did not like the consistency of the shampoo or the outcome that much. It's also not cheap compared to other organic shampoos, or other oily hair shampoos. I would not recommend this. If you need an organic shampoo, I prefer Desert Essence Lemon shampoo, or if no need for an organic, I prefer the Suave daily clarifying shampoo.

Used it for the first time today. It turned my thin hair to straw when I rinsed it out. The smell was a little too medicinal for my liking. I used the Green Tea Finishing Cream Rinse hoping to reduce the straw on my head and it felt like it worked well. I then rinsed thoroughly and styled my hair. I noticed as soon as I used the hair dryer that something was different. I looked in the mirror and saw that my hair looked greasy. I ran my brush through it and it looked like I had not washed my hair in a week. I actually had to take another shower in order to wash this shampoo and conditioner out of my hair. I wish I could return it! Please think twice about buying this product.

This shampoo smells good and lathers better than almost any other shampoo I've tried. I like how it makes my hair feel, however, it's difficult to apply because it's a very thin consistency. When you pour it in your hand, it's almost like water, making it hard to spread through your hair - which makes me feel the need to use a lot of it. I prefer Kiss My Face Whenever. It works just as well, but is a thicker formula.

This shampoo cleaned my hair but it was troublesome. Perhaps it is better not to use this item on your hair every day. I found that my hair seemed clumpy and tangly after using this item for a short period of time.

I bought Aubrey's Green Tea shampoo on my quest for the best chemical-free shampoo. I love that the fomulation is really natural - no words you can't pronounce or understand here - and the earthy/plant smell is really pleasing to me, but this shampoo turns my hair to straw. Luckily I always follow with the Aubrey Honeysuckle Rose conditioner, which is amazing (see my review) and turns my hair to fragrant silk, but I wish the shampoo didn't dry out my hair like that, even if just for a couple minutes. That said, it foams well and leaves my hair clean & shiny (although I think the conditioner is to thank for that).
