I use it for four days no help so far will con't for three more days maybe something will happen in seven days so far no show, but love the no taste or odor.

Sadly this did not work for me. I have chronic constipation and feel like I've tried everything. I used up the 8 oz bottle of this but nothing happened. I had no side effects, or any effect at all. The great thing about it though is that its completely tasteless and odorless. I put it in my juice, smoothies, even oatmeal. I wish it had worked for me but for anyone who's hesitant, give it a try. Its very easy to incorporate into your diet.

I am a chronic pain sufferer and therefore use narcotics daily. The side effects are SEVERE constipation. This product is a God-send. It is one of the only products I have ever used that is easy to take and predictable in its actions. Bowel movements are no longer a tortuous or violent act but merely a normal and comfortable experience. I hope others will benefit as I have from the product.

I took MiraLAX for 2 weeks (even adjusted my dosage) and the only results I got were bloating and lots of smelly gas... I mean, I "went" but no more than what I went before taking this. The only difference was that this made me even more uncomfortable. I guess everyone is different.

I got started on MiraLAX 2 months ago. And it works BUT ITS THE BOTTLE- EVERYTIME I PUT IT IN MY CUP IT GOES ALL OVER THE PLACE. I KNOW YOU HAVE TO USE THE TOP AND IT STILL GOES EVERY WERE. WHY CANT YOU MAKE IT A BIG TOP SO YOU CAN PUT A SPOON IN IT [LIKE METAMUCIL]? SO EVERYTIME I USE IT, ITS ALL OVER MY COUNTER. SO I HAVE WASTED, A HALF OF A BOTTLE, AND THATS NOT RIGHT. I have been living with chronic constipation, painful bloating and gas since I was a child.(I am 30 now) This is the only product that allows me to have a bowel movements daily without any inconvenient or painful side effects; actually there are no side effects for me at all! My daughter has suffered from stomach problems since she was born. At age 1 she was actually hospitalized because her colon had swollen so big. The doctors then prescribed Miralax, which she used until she was 6. She had a bloody stool yesterday and it was back to the ER (she's 9 now). The prescribed the same thing, except now I could get it over the counter. This is a MIRACLE drug. She passed a bowel this morning without any problem. Please never stop making this medication!!

I have been using the prescription Miralax and generics for years and this product works. Drugstore.com emailed me for one last 2-bottle refill, choosing not to advise me that Miralax was alreday available at 1/2 the cost over the counter. The product works. Measure dosage to your own needs. I need less than the dosage amount specified on the package and I take it every morning. Regular daily use is amportant because it is not instant or overnight in performance. My wife uses it as well and it works better than any other fibre product we have used. It is not absorbed into your body and that is also a plus.

I purchased MiraLax yesterday after reading the reviews here. I should have known better than to buy a product that was a chemical and not natural. I opened the package and was disgusted by the smell. It smelled like Elmer's glue. I took a dose last night and it worked but I'm going to go back to looking for something natural. I threw my bottle and the unused portion in the trash. This can't be good to put in our bodies! If you're considering buying this product I would recommend doing research on Polyethylene Glycol, the ingredient in this product. Look at the reviews on [@] too. I wouldn't be surprised to find that this is a carcinogen.

I was diagnosed with IBS about 10 years ago. I've been through several drug concoctions to try to control my symptoms. Several years ago I was prescribed Miralax. It worked wonders. Eventually I was taken off Miralax and given Zelnorm. Then when that was taken off the market I was quite upset because I was under control. To my relief, I went back to Miralax on my own b/c it is now OTC. This product is wonderful. It totally controls my symptoms. I rarely have an "attack" b/c I am so normal due to the Miralax. This is truly a miracle drug.
