My daughter has been going through constipation since she was a year old. Now that she is 5, I called her pediatrician and asked if there was anything that could help her and they said Miralax..even for a 5 year old. I gave it to her because she hadn't gone for 5 days and within 2 hours she went.....so this stuff really works and she has no side effects from it.

We have an older child with Cerebral Palsy who would suffer with constipation. Our doctor initially prescribed Miralax by prescription because it has little or no side effects. It's true! In the past we hated seeing our son suffer and tried many things to help him with constipation. Now it's a true "Miracle" (Miralax). Not any problems whatsoever in over 4 years of use at the rate of about twice a week. Now everyone in the family uses it, some of us DAILY. No horrible cramps as with other laxatives. So grateful.

My daughter has been taking prescribed Miralax for almost 5 years. I am thrilled it is now OTC without the high prescription cost. Highly recommended, but ask your physician first.

I couldn't toilet train ...

I couldn't toilet train my son until the doctor prescribed miralax. He would strain for days and no other laxative worked. My 83 year old mother-in-law suffered terrible constipation because of her medications and this has cured her. This stuff is harmless long term and really cures constipation. The doctors told me there are no side affects to it like mineral oil which can cause vitamin depletion when used over time.

I've taken this for years as prescription for IBS. It is the best. No cramps, no sudden urges, just keeps things moving. It should be its own food group!

Miralax is a miracle for people like me who suffered for years with sluggish colon.Nothing helped me and regular laxatives only made the condition worse.The cramps would be terrible and after the laxative wore off, the same problem would still be there.My gastroenterologist finally started me on Miralax. I am so glad this is now available without a prescription.

This is the best laxative out there. I've used it with a prescription and am glad that it's now available over the counter. It's not like other laxatives that cause cramping or a sudden need to run to a restroom. It works very naturally. You do have to take it every day in order to get the benefits of it, but you just mix it in any beverage. It has no taste. It's a very good product.

This is a miracle product. Nothing worked for my husband in the past, but now he's a new person. It relieved his constipation comfortably and naturally -- without the urgency, cramps, gas and bloating that others laxatives have caused. He would suffer with his constipation rather than using other laxatives, but now he uses MiraLAX all the time and it has changed his life.

My son was born with constipation problems, I swear! The doctor gave us Miralax and it works amazingly! Very quick, no painful gas. I highly recommend this to someone with chronic constipation.
