I broke out like I never had before and thinking this was an "initial breakout" I kept using these products for 4 weeks with no improvements. I have pretty severe acne on and off, sometimes my skin will be clear for days or even weeks at a time with one tiny pimple here or there but there are times I get huge nodules that are inflamed, red, painful and won't go away for long periods of time. I decided to try this product as I am a "very" stressed human being in general. I noticed that it DOES help with the horrid inflammation that I get and some of the redness dicipates as well with use of this product. However, I don't believe it fights oncoming acne very well so don't count on it if you have an upcoming test at school or something. I would say overall it's pretty good but defenitely not the end of your acne for good. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

As I got to seven days, the patches were darker and looked like irrated bumps on the skin. I stopped immediately after this reaction. I have never had a reaction like this to any product for acne treatment since using Proactiv like 10 years ago. I have a feeling that the alcohol ingredients irritated my sensitive combination skin. The red/dry marks are still noticeable even after 2 weeks since using the product. I had high hopes after reading these reviews, but this didn't do a darn thing for my adult acne. I never had acne as a teenager, but I have problems with it on my chin and forehead. I use it to wash my face at night before bed, and it works pretty well to halt acne. My skin gets very oily throughout the day, so this does well to remove the grease. We found this and tried it, and she loves it. It's been a perfect cleanser for her, and I'e found that when I occasionally break-out, it works for my adult acne, too. Great price, great product.
