It's pretty awesome!! by Lainey in Bronx, NY on 10/18/09Pros: Great for Dry Skin, Long Lasting, Moisturizes Well Cons: You have to blend it well Describe Yourself: Budget Buyer Best Uses: Deep Moisturization, Dry/Chapped Skin, Eczema Bottom Line: recommended Well, I first found a sample of this product during my honeymoon at the hotel room's bathroom counter. I simply loved it! Ive never found a moisturizer that made my foundation look dewy and glowing! Its good to use in the winter because usually you skin is less oily then and it moisturizes kind of thick and non greasy. I also used it on its own during the summer for the beach with some blush and lip gloss.
I took some samples from the hotel room and passed them on to a friend with oily skin and one combination whom was pregnant. They both loved it as well!!
gave me a rash by simba in colorado on 10/17/09Pros: Absorbs Quickly, Goes On Smoothly Cons: Allergic reaction Bottom Line: not recommended I use other Neutrogena products and love them. I bought this product because of the great reviews and the high SPF. I'm glad I only used it on my neck. I now have a rash and it itches constantly. I must be allergic to helioplex.
Not At All Greasy by AHarris2006 in Tennessee on 9/22/09Pros: Absorbs Quickly, Goes On Smoothly, Long Lasting, Moisturizes Well, Not Greasy, Smells Great, Softens Skin Describe Yourself: Brand Buyer Best Uses: After Shower/Bath, Dry/Chapped Skin, Winter Dryness Bottom Line: recommended My dermatologist recommended this product to me to help protect my hyper-light-sensitive skin from damage. I have PMLE that reacts to even visual light and fluorescent lamps and this product does protect me somewhat as long as I stay out of heavy UV rays (after all it is only a sunscreen, not a sunblock). It leaves my skin feeling soft & silky and I use it daily in the house as a protectant against any UV that may slip through the windows.
A great product under make-up by Cam the Pianist in Columbus, OH on 9/12/09Pros: Absorbs Quickly, Goes On Smoothly, Long Lasting, Not Greasy, Softens Skin Describe Yourself: Brand Buyer Best Uses: After Shower/Bath Bottom Line: recommended My skin has always been oily, & wearing sunscreens in the past has made it worse. I grimaced when my dermatologist recommended wearing at least a SPF30 on my face each day. After trying many pricey & store brand products, this is the ONLY one that has worked for me. I apply after morning cleansing, and then apply a make-up primer & foundation. I'm amazed at how well my skin looks & feels at the end of the day. The make-up still looks great, & my skin is still hydrated. My complexion breaks out easily, but I have had absolutely no problems with this product. The container is easy to carry. Thank you, Neutrogena!!!!!
More of a sunscreen than moisturizer by Jan in NYC, NY on 8/29/09Pros: Long Lasting Cons: Bad Smell, Too Greasy or Heavy Describe Yourself: Budget Buyer Bottom Line: not recommended I have always enjoyed Neutrogena products for their quality and affordability. I was in search of a daily moisturizer with added SPF for everyday sun protection. I went with the 45 because other daily moisturizers that were just 25 or 30 still gave me sun damage. But this product was NOT a moisturizer with added SPF. It was a full blown sunscreen that had some moisturizing components to it. Meaning, it was much thicker, greasier, and smelt more like sunscreen than any daily moisturizer I have ever used. I don't know if its the SPF 45 that made it feel, smell and look like a sunscreen, but I've had SPF 45 sun protection from other brands, and it wasn't like this at all.
If I'm going to spend a lot of time in the sun, like the park, pool, or beach, this will work great. The sun protection is really good. But for everyday, when I'm going to work, I my skin and feels and smells like I"m heading to a day in the sun. Will not use this product as an everyday moisturizer with sunscreen.

Plus easy to carry container for travelling.

Great non-greasy moisturizer by a Nifty Fifty in Vancouver, WA on 5/24/09Pros: Absorbs Quickly, Goes On Smoothly, Long Lasting, Moisturizes Well, Not Greasy Describe Yourself: Brand Buyer Best Uses: Every morning Bottom Line: recommended I no longer have to mix sunscreen with my non-oil moisturizer.

Possible reaction to active ingredients by KG in Oregon on 4/22/09Pros: Absorbs Quickly, Goes On Smoothly Cons: Reactive ingredients Bottom Line: not recommended I have been using Neutrogena moisturizer for almost 20 years (I had to stop and check the math--that's a long time!). The untinted, SPF moisturizer was always my go-to product because of its light, non-greasy feeling. However, starting about a year ago, I began getting these dry, scaly patches on my cheeks. When I stopped using this moisturizer and switched to another non-Neutrogena product, the patches went away. The best I can figure is that Neutrogena changed their formula and I had a reaction to the active ingredients. So keep in mind that this moisturizer might not work for people with sensitive skin.
