i bought this on a whim. i figured i was wasting my $$ but my family and i were having a difficult time breathing. i had air cleaners, salt lamps and ozone cleaners. we were still having problems. i bought 1 of these and the very expensive machine for [$] for my bedroom and this works just as well. i have since bought one for each of the rooms of my house including my bathrooms. we noticed the air was lighter that nite. when i saw my dr he commented that my breathing test numbers were finally going up. they were better for ther first time in years. he said keep up whatever you are doing it is working. we wont change anything. i smiled. i was embarassed to tell him about the lights. i did not think he would believe me. but my sister her husband my husband and daughter and myself and ever our dogs are breathing easier. So i do recommend it. it really works. we had to stop using the bedroom door all the time to make it work in our room. i guess if you use the door a lot you might need two to clean the air. i hope this answers ppls questions about the lights.

Can hear across room. Have not had long enough to verify effectiveness. In home caring for 95 year old and concerned about colds other infections from visitors. She noticed the light.

I have these in my husband's bedroom as he uses a CPAP (which blows air up his nose) to relieve Sleep Apnea!

You know when it is working because the light is bright, and when it turns yellowish it is time to change it, I have had them for a year and am just replacing some bulbs. !!

Our house is 35 years old and some of the wall outlets have rather a "wide" outlet holes. I had to put a jar under it to rest it on so it would stay plugged in. However, I love that the plugs rotate, so they can go anywhere.

I also have them in my bedroom, the bathrooms and the kitchen, and the dog/laundry room.

works great, and really does kill most odors. works great in the bathroom, doubles as a dim nightlight. read the recommended air volume to see if this will work for your room. also, i found that the unit works best when the room it's in doesn't have too much air circulation (like an open window). i recommend this unit specifically for bathroom, as i don't know how kitchen oils affect the fans. i'm looking to buy the bigger silver unit for the high-traffic areas. Get the UVC wand if you want to kill bathroom mold.

If I could return the items without the plastic containers they were sent in I would do so I spent over $150.00 on these for help with a home that has 2 small children and a (now) non smoker and they can not even remove the smell of puke in the babies room. I am very dissapointed

I use this in the bathroom and its great. It makes the bathroom smell fresh and clean and it seems to be helping with the mold that creeps into the seal around the tub. But it is definately TOO NOISY for the bedroom. I am gonna order another one for the kitchen tho.

This is a great product, I love it. I don't like anything that adds smell to the air or harsh chemicals for cleaning, It says it lasts 5000 hours and the light dims when that needs to be replaced. I could tell it was working right away.

I have two of these that I bought just before my baby was born 9 mo ago. I keep one in the kitchen an one near the cat litter. I keep them on all the time and no one in our house has been sick. They don't really make much noise. I forget they are there and turned on.

Was quiet when new, but with use, does get noisy. I only use it in litter box room, though, where noise level doesn't matter. Because there are no filters to replace or wash, I do wonder whether it's working, and wish there were at least some indicator of it's efficiency with long-term use!
