The remover is like a creamy lotion. I applied the lotion to Kleenex tissue. It does remove the eye make up but you have to rub your eyes several times to get all of it off. It's OK. I wonder if the tissue had anything to do with the application. I've used Mary Kay's eye make-up remover in the past, which is more oil based (or seems to be oily) but it does the job the first time. In any case, the Klorane product works fine. I'm wondering if I tried the make-up removal wipes if they would be better than using the lotion with just tissues.

This is a lotion so it's great because it's not runny when you apply it on a cotton pad. You just press it in between two cotton pads that you subsequently apply on each eye to remove the makeup. While I like that it's gentle, I don't like that it does not easily remove my waterproof Lancome mascara. I've got to reapply additional remover lotion and wait for almost a minute until I can remove it by rubbing quite vigorously. This causes me to lose at least a lash per eye a night. I only wear one coat of waterproof mascara so this shouldn't be that difficult. I guess I'll go back to those bi-hase removers after this one.

Well, I bought two eye make-up removers at the same time hoping that one of them would be one I could use permanently. This one did not do it for me at all. I was excited because many of the reviewers said that it did not leave that greasy film on their eyes. Unfortunately, this is the precise reason I threw mine away. When I was using it, it seemed gentle. The next morning after I put my make-up on, I realized that my eyes were very uncomfortable. It made my eyes extremely filmy and irritated. I tried it again just to see if it would work and it really messed my eyes up. I wanted to wash my eyes out with soap just to get the greasy film off my eyes!!! For me, this was a huge waste of money. [...] I see from the reviews that many people loved this product. This was not the case for me. I do have to say that I have EXTREMELY sensitive eyes and that I am allergic to nearly every product I try. I will just mark this down as another one I am quite allergic to.

I like the fragrance of this makeup remover. Don't really like how thick it is though. I'm used to a more watery like product, that soaks into a cotton ball. This is more like a lotion. but, still works good.

I liked the fact there was NO oily residue to deal with and the film on the eyes. Great buy and will buy again. The smell was great kind of relaxing.

This eye makeup remover never burns, is always effective, and smells so sweet. It lasts a long time because you do not need much. Have used it for a year now, and just love it.

I love this product. It does good job to remove my waterproof eye make-up. Also, it's very mild ,not greasy at all. For the price, I think it's very reasonable.

I have super-sensitive skin, particularly around my eyes...my own tears burn/cause redness. This product is so mild that I do not even need to rinse after using, yet it is amazingly effective. I use smudgeproof/waterproof eyeliner, and it wipes off easily...no scrubbing. I have no issues with this product...I don't find it drying, too thick, or to have an unpleasant odor. BOTTOM LINE: Highly recommended and worth the price.
